2017 #1 Pick watch!

well, they have a lot of mediocrity, Trout and Calhoun on offense, and the 28th ranked pitching staff in MLB! their entire starting 5 is mostly hurt and aside from Shoemaker (who I think was sent down for a bit) they aren't doing much. Heck, their offense is at 10.4 WAR and Trout + Calhoun are 6.9 of that

It was more of a rhetorical question aimed at highlighting how incredible it is that they have the fourth worst record in baseball with a guy that's worth at least ten extra wins.

I was genuinely shocked to see how bad they have been this year.

And there has been a following on here to go after Scioscia.

Back to number one, baby!

Atlanta on top

Minnesota is 0.5 games behind

Cincinnati is 2.5 games behind

LAA is 6 games behind

Tampa Bay is 6.5 games behind

Oakland is 8 games behind

San Diego is 8 games behind

Arizona is 9 games behind

Milwaukee is 9.5 games behind

Colorado is 10.5 games behind

Philadelphia is 10.5 games behind

NYY is 13.5 games behind

Those are all of the teams with under .500 records.

Been a lot of good series for us this week. LAA/TB, Minn/Oak and SD/AZ are all good for us regardless of who wins. The Reds stealing two from the Cubs was the cherry on top.

Should be 1.5 ahead heading into the break but Reds worry me.

Their pitching is AWFUL.
