I am intrigued by guys like Dustin and Rio this spring. Guys who are not stars but had some hype before. Hope they get a few shots this year.

You compared Machado's situation to Ruiz's situation to “prove” jumping all over the field in ST doesn’t mean a prospect failed, as if they are remotely comparable.

It's along the lines of saying "Maddux is a HOFer without elite stuff because he had good control, so Williams Perez can be a good SP too".

No I was siting an example of a position move. Rio is playing LF some. That is it. He might also back up fist if he makes the 25 man. That is hardly jumping all over the field. That is simply two prospects who don’t have star power playing the same position. If he can play LF. Then you have options of playing him along with jo-gun. Honestly I doubt he makes the 25 out of spring.

I never compared Rio to Manny. Just that prospects move all the time who are not “failed”.

You should have said, "Chipper moved from 3B to LF for a bit, and became a first ballot HOFer".

Then ran over and gave clvderpclv and tehteh a group high five while shouting, "Pozzy Braves aaaaasssseemmmmbleee!!".
