2018 Trade Deadline ROSTERBATION

Cabrera is the top option before the deadline, imo. Followed by Beltre, Dietrich, and Solarte. Donaldson would be a great get after the deadline.

For someone who claims, "I don't care what you think about my stupid ideas", you sure do spend a lot of time coming up with them and defending them. You have a blog devoted to documenting your terrible ideas (that you no longer have a link to in your sig due to how terribly your "ideas" are received here), and you expect anyone to believe you don't care whether or not those ideas are sound? Seriously?

Just a defense mechanism you're using to make yourself feel better. Clown. As usual.

Awwww - did you run out of porn again? I'll set my alarm for 4 AM and try to post a link for you.

Here is an interesting name that AA should check in on Joe Jimenez a RH RP from the Tigers. Check these numbers out 48 games, 45 IP, (4-1) with a 2.60 ERA and he even has 3 saves on the season.

I have interest in Asdrubal, Solarte, Moose and Dietrich.

Escobar doesn't strike me much of an upgrade over Camargo vs RHP, so I'm not too sad about missing out on him.

Updated list on average exit velocity on FBs/LDs by guys playing 3B vs RHP (minimum 40 such batted balls to get Camargo on the list):

1 Matt Chapman 80 95.5 MPH
2 Rafael Devers 86 95.1 MPH
3 Todd Frazier 70 95.1 MPH
4 Matt Carpenter 100 94.8 MPH
5 Luis Valbuena 46 94.8 MPH
6 Mike Moustakas 93 94.5 MPH
7 Travis Shaw 112 94.4 MPH
8 Miguel Andujar 81 94.3 MPH
9 Nolan Arenado 92 94.2 MPH
10 Anthony Rendon 108 94.0 MPH
11 Alex Bregman 118 93.9 MPH
12 Maikel Franco 67 93.7 MPH
13 Jose Ramirez 130 93.3 MPH
14 Yangervis Solarte 64 93.0 MPH
15 Kyle Seager 113 92.9 MPH
16 Adrian Beltre 68 92.7 MPH
17 Evan Longoria 64 92.6 MPH
18 Colin Moran 94 92.5 MPH
19 Johan Camargo 42 92.5 MPH
20 Jake Lamb 54 92.4 MPH
21 Eugenio Suarez 106 92.4 MPH
22 Jeimer Candelario 82 92.0 MPH
23 Christian Villanueva 63 91.9 MPH
24 Yolmer Sanchez 97 91.5 MPH
25 Kris Bryant 87 90.7 MPH
26 Eduardo Escobar 79 90.4 MPH
27 Justin Turner 55 89.5 MPH
28 Matt Duffy 87 89.2 MPH
29 Martin Prado 43 88.6 MPH

I have bolded the guys who may be available.

Mous is probably a great platoon option, but we've seen reports questioning how well he would take to a bench/platoon role.
Beltre doesn't seem like much of an upgrade either at this point in time.
Valbuena looks to be really struggling just to make contact, so I'm not sure he's a good target.
Solarte is a moderate upgrade to Camargo, and we've heard AA talk about wanting guys under team control.
Dietrich only sports a 90.5 MPH exit velociy vs RHP, so I don't see him as a major upgrade either.

Asdrubel sports a 94.5 MPH exit velocity vs RHP this year. He is the guy I want if Mous isn't the answer. He may be the guy I want even if Mous is doable.

I'm not angry at all.

Really?

Only 96 hours left, this is beyond frustrating!

As long as he had an arm I'd take a chance on The Headless Horseman over Sam Freeman.

Why is Sam Freeman still on the team?!? He's garbage! Philly has taken control of the division and we keep running bums like Sam out there!

Beltre isn't terrible, just old. For the Love of God just do something, AA!

The gig is up, Philadelphia has taken control of the division and we could be 5 1/2 games back in the division by the end of play Sunday while AA sits on his hands and does nothing as our team falls apart.

Again, you sound like a 17 year old throwing a temper tantrum.

34% strikeout rate for Luis Valbuena...strike him from the list

Yup, I mentioned that.

IMO, it's basically Mous, Asdrubel, or don't bother. Solarte might be attractive if AA is really determined to get a controllable guy (though I don't see the point in paying extra for a controllable role player).

Add more to the BP because Venters is certainly not the answer. AA went even cheaper than I thought possible with that acquisition.

That is opposite of true. The buyers are being reduced faster than the supply on the market. Teams selling will become more desperate to deal. Unless you hold something elite the price will drop.

Not when your GM says he doesn't want rentals, if it comes down to that's all that's left they can hold AA hostage and if he won't bite they will just keep the player(s) being discussed.

Solarte is an example of a non-rental whose price has apparently been dropping.
