2018 Trade Deadline ROSTERBATION

june16 - .342 .433 .594 1.027
july29 - .313 .397 .527 .924

that's pretty much an exact numeric representation of what I was saying.

That’s not at all what you said. You were specifically talking about a drastic jump in Ks because nsacpi correctly pointed out that you were wrong about the Braves being a high K team.

Nice attempt at changing the subject though lol. Change it enough times and you’ll be right eventually!!

and thus the apology to the board for mixing threads - the "good $" was meant in reference to FF's numbers. Because I'm civil, I'll now make a special apology just to you, because you of course are so special that you deserve to have one all your own - please Enscheff, pretty please please please with sugar on top: can you find it in your heart to forgive me? I promise it won't happen again, master. I swear I'll be a good little poster from now on

back to trade discussion:

here's what I predict will happen -

1) Teheran, Anibal, Evan Phillips for Sonny Gray
2) Gohara, R. Ruiz, Demeritte, another lesser/lower level pitching prospect for Minor, Kela, Beltre
3) Folty, Allard, Anderson for deGrom

From the same source you got your info about Goharas real age?

Those trades aren’t happening lol.

So we're trading Julio, Anibal, Gohara, Folty, Allard, Anderson, and gaining 3 starters? That is not happening.

I could see the Texas deal happen, anything else wouldnt happen til the winter.

I have no source for this thing, but I most definitely do for the other thing. You can choose to believe me or not, makes no difference to me...

As for these trade predictions, you are 100% right - those trades probably won't happen.

What do you predict will happen?

I’ll leave it as an exercise for you to find my thoughts on the trade deadline.

huge stretch I know, just trying to have a little fun. But I just think given AA's track record that he chooses to go big. I just don't see him sitting on all these pitching prospects too much longer. What are your predicitions?

I think we'll add another BP arm or two, and maybe a lower end SP.

I dont see anything major happening until this winter, trading wise.

probably right, doesn't make sense on paper to rush things. Most of AA's public comments indicate that's his thinking, to take the more cautious approach. But it might be hard for him to talk himself out of the opportunity to get game changing pieces if they are available. He surpised everyone more than a few times with major splashes when he was in Toronto.

But you're right, his Atlanta legacy probably gets written more in the offseason than it does for this particular trade deadline

He's better as a setup man than closer, but he's still better than Jackson, Freeman or Moylan provided he replaces one of them.

Dude has a 1.77 WHIP...he might be a small upgrade so hopefully they didn't give up much for him, and hopefully they didn't give up any prospects
