As soon as somebody produces the trophy AA gets for having won that contest, I'll start looking.
Does he get a gold star too???
Steamer:
Donaldson 3.9 wins
Pollock 2.5 wins
Marwin 1.3 wins
--------
3.8 wins

I project that if the sun comes up tomorrow it will be Wednesday, and roughly half of the regular season games will be played at SunTrust Park.
I also project That a lot of people are going to be upset when they don't at least get a participation trophy when their projections don't turn out to be right.
Last time I checked I get nothing for making projections, so I didn't stop the dog when he wanted to eat my homework.
But he knows that Pollock and Marwin would have been a better offseason.
what do you get for anything you post here? do you get something for things other than projections?
i promise you projections get far closer than you ever could. about pretty much anything.
You mean you guys aren't drawing salaries too?

do you ever actually make a good point?
you seem to think you know more than a lot of people, and know more than projection models, but your track record strongly disagrees with what you think.
Let's see Donaldson play more than 20 games before making that statement.
How about "we HOPE AA has added 6 wins at the cost of $30 million".
You seem blind to all the commentary that says, essentially, "Donaldson was healthy at the end of the season with Cleveland." It was a pretty good little run.
He was "healthy" prior to the last two seasons as well. It's an absolutely understandable gamble - you have to roll the dice when you can get that kind of talent, and I'm thrilled he's a Brave - but at his age his health is no less a gamble than Brantley's or Pollock's after missing huge chunks of time recently.
Why is tempering expectations for Donaldson different than lowering expectations for the other two - or Bumgarner for that matter? Not expecting any of that group to perform at peak levels like they did in their primes is certainly reasonable IMO. Should we really expect better results from Donaldson simply because he's a Brave and was the one AA was willing to gamble on staying healthy?
