2019 Trade Deadline Thread:

There is no "latest list", it is updated almost daily now. What you are seeing is the "latest list". The "latest list" was changed to move Waters up to the high end of the 55s, and Gohara down.

Players are valuated now for trades that happen now. If Muller is a 50 in 6 months, he will be more valuable 6 months from now. Whether Muller moves up to a 50, or gets hurt and falls down the list, his value now is what it is now.

Now.

Hmm... I wasn't aware of the updates. My meaning was that Muller should be valued as a 50 b/c I thought he would be a 50 if they did a mid season list.

duh. the idea would be to get a LF and move Acuña to RF. Acuña is not a CF.

Snitker has shown no willingness to play Acuna in RF. He decided to play Camargo and Culberson there instead of moving Acuna over earlier in the season. I don’t think he’s played RF once in the majors.

For some reason I disagree. He’s more of a CF > LF > RF for me.

His play at left isn’t good .

i’d wager he’s better in LF than CF. Ender is also 100x better in CF.
bottom line is Nick needs far more days off and is unplayable vs. lefties. but he keeps getting slotted the in the 5 spot.

it makes little sense to keep Markakis in the daily lineup over Ender.

Probably wouldn’t have happened, and certainly won’t now that he’s injured and likely out for a while, but we could have traded for Gallo and put him in center, Acuña in left, and reluctantly left Markakis in right bc the Braves have zero desire to ever bench him. He would’ve been someone I would have traded Pache, Waters, or any of our pitching prospects for.
