Everything is fluid, of course, but as of now Syndergaard still scheduled to start tonight in Chicago. As
@Ken_Rosenthal
noted Ervin Santana was pulled from AAA start. But more likely in case starter needed Thurs for Wheeler

That one guy in the comments said Accuna lol. Mets are dilusional if they think AA is gonna trade one of the top 3 for a bp arm. I could see Wright on the table though.

Mets currently plan to start Syndergaard tonight on schedule

I preface my comment by saying I in no way shape or form wish or want injury on any player, but it would be such a Mets thing to happen for Thor to somehow get injured in tonight's start. I will, however, wish and hope he gets his ass lit up tonight so the asking price comes down a bit.

No way one of the smartest organizations would want bumgarner

Luhnow is playing the same game AA and the rest of the GMs are playing - looking for something for nothing.

If all the other controllable options wind up costing prospects he's not willing to trade and Bumgarner doesn't, explain one reason they wouldn't trade for him.

It's now put-up or shutup time for these guys - either you want to win, or you don't. Show me, don't tell me. It really is that simple.

Pretty good point about the trading teams with high asking prices for controllable pieces made today on XM -

They SHOULD be high enough to make you hurt - it's not their job to make your team better.

If you want a chance to win, go get players - if you want to hoard prospects, enjoy watching the playoffs with the rest of us.

Wut

Don't try to sell me the "we want to win" bull*hit if you're going to pass on upgrading this team.

It's certainly not good enough to beat the Dodgers, Astros, Yankees, or Red Sox, and it may not be good enough to hold off the Gnats.

Mark Feinsand said on MLB Network that Puig and Castellanos are the two names that come up the most in our OF search.
