Since SP prices seem to be well beyond what teams are comfortable with, may be the off-set to that plan is to try and shrink the game with an elite BP.

I'm not sure adding Martin, Greene and Melancon makes the BP elite...

AA added a lot of RHP options, that's for sure.

I hate to see Wentz leave, but these are exactly the kinds of deals I was hoping for. Weakest part of the team was vastly improved without acquiring major contracts or losing major prospects.
