Everyone talking about “how do we fix this?” They say “go out and vote?” What about asking if how we vote is also structurally racist?

3hrs to vote today in GA. Then Brown drove over to predominantly white polling site in Atl suburbs

“I come over to this side of town, and white folks are strolling in. On my side of town, we brought stadium chairs.”

Okay so how will Joe Biden fix that?

it is wrongheaded thinking one person in one 4 year term will / can undo 400 years .

2) Lebron is not speaking to Biden v Trump but income inequality which to my mind is the fuel of systemic racism
But speaking to down ballot voting that would insure we have legislators in place to propose and enact laws that will help turn this around
Biden like Obama cant wave a magic wand . Unlike entrenched bigots and people that prosper from systemic racism/income inequality
by holding race rallys on Juneteenth to " own the libs" or more to the point rub black Americas nose in race and remind them their place

3) Biden will move the ball forward rather than backward. Fix it, no, nudge it along, yes

You should really listen to Stacey Abrams speak on voting.

By training cops to shoot unarmed suspects in the leg, duh

that is actually a thing that is taught in police academies and for good reason.
Not sure what your point is.

Oh, some militia related internet pundit thought it was clever and you hopped in line

I was talking about the voting issue. Most likely will have both houses of Congress.

I would agree it's unfair to expect the police to be fixed in a 4 year term.

Police are trained to shoot at center mass, not sure where you’re getting your information

And Biden suggested they shoot not at center mass

Which is a thing.
I am not the only person that got his point
Because ...

I was wrong police are trained to not shoot to wound.

Why not ?

- Because this is real life, not Hollywood, and not shooting at someone’s center makes a miss more likely by a huge factor

- Because cops should only use their guns in life threatening situations anyway, and shooting to maim might not neutralize the threat

Police training needs to go beyond emphasizing the severity of the risks that officers face by taking into account the likelihood of those risks materializing. Policing has risks—serious ones—that we cannot casually dismiss. Over the last ten years, an annual average of 51 officers were feloniously killed in the line of duty according to data collected by the FBI. In the same time period, an average of 57,000 officers were assaulted every year (though only about 25 percent of those assaults result in any physical injuries). But for all of its risks, policing is safer now than it has ever been. Violent attacks on officers, particularly those that involve a serious physical threat, are few and far between when you take into account the fact that police officers interact with civilians about 63 million times every year. In percentage terms, officers were assaulted in about 0.09 percent of all interactions, were injured in some way in 0.02 percent of interactions, and were feloniously killed in 0.00008 percent of interactions. Adapting officer training to these statistics doesn’t minimize the very real risks that officers face, but it does help put those risks in perspective. Officers should be trained to keep that perspective in mind as they go about their jobs.

moving forward once our police are reorganized and our policing methods re evaluated
This will be interesting.

Biden's idea was not that far off, his statements are rather forward thinking

woah there, only the cops get to use that logic. Very few cops are shot and killed by black men. I believe they say "One is too many"..... or atleast thats how they feel when it comes to them, not so much for the rest of us.

If Trump suggested what Biden suggested, it would’ve been front page news. Celebrities have been cancelled for less. Biden’s been on the wrong side of criminal justice issues for decades, but gets a pass because of that (D) next to his name.

Trump would not have suggested what Biden did.
