BREAKING: Outdoor clothing company Patagonia got over 500

companies across America, including big names like

Dick’s Sporting Goods, Gap Inc. Levi Strauss & Co., Lyft

and Walmart to commit to giving workers time off

to vote in the November general election.

Patagonia IS AWESOME

Hooray for false equivalency.

Take 2 seconds to think about what this moron said, he's considering the source of the country of origin of an app to associate it's user base?

Even if it's American is it not election interference?

I thought that was the biggest threat to our democracy.

Make up y'all's mind!

All Eyes on Kentucky: Officials locked the doors at 6pm. Hundreds were still waiting.

Charles Booker filed an injunction to extend the polls opening until 6:30pm.

The judge granted an extension. The people are excited! Power to the people.

Americans trolling the presidential rally isn't election tampering. It's not Russians hacking private servers and releasing it via an intelligence asset.

Why are the dems suppressing their own primary?

So New York didn’t only choose Jamaal Bowman over Eliot Engel tonight.

It also elected Ritchie Torres, who will go on to be the first openly gay Afro-Latinx man in Congress.

AND Mondaire Jones, the first openly gay Black man in Congress.

History is being made.

These are getting ridiculous. Just feels redundant when you need to list two or more qualifiers. First Gay Trans Blasian midget to be a Senator! Woooo

just a marker that things are changing.
no more no less

Congress will look a little more different next January. I think the writer is looking further ahead, like what will the picture look like in 2024 or 2026.
How diverse ?

Watching PBS The Vote it is odd seeing pictured all white men as Congress

How many Libertarians were primaried forward (advanced) to General Election yesterday ?

So proud of Jamaal BowmanNY and all the hard work he's put in this year.

I know it hasn't been easy for him or his family. But seeing all the little

black and brown kids saying:

"That's the principal from TV!" yesterday

really made me think we can pull this off.

Last night was a huge night for young Black progressives: Bowman, Jones, and Torres all seem to be heading to Congress

AND ALSO Biden-- not young, not Black, not lefty progressive-- opens up a huge lead in latest NYT poll

Dems are learning to walk & chew gum at the same time

I think this reflects a genuine change in progressive strategy. Bernie popularized their message, but he wasn't the right messenger. Now, the movement is elevating younger, more diverse messengers to build a new generation of leaders fro the ground up-- the AOC effect

AND ALSO, with Bernie firmly out of the race, progressives have moved away from the Bernie-or-Bust mentality that pervaded the summer of 2016. Reasons for this: Trump, Biden has been smart abt outreach, and progressives are focusing on growing new leaders rather than punching up

I think it also confirms that AOC and
@justicedems
are the new leaders of the progressive left.

Their model-- running young, compelling progressives of color against absent/uninspiring Dem incumbents in a blue areas-- has led to more progressive wins than any other strategy

Why are the dems suppressing their own primary?

Do you realize this isn't for the primary only. Plenty of local and state offices are up for vote as well.

The Georgia Primary, I voted for county commissioners, state supreme court nominees, etc.
