War on drugs. Started by Republicans. Mostly championed by Republicans. At what point do we ask why we lock up more people than authoritarian countries. These are the results of 50 years of bad policy. Democrats deserve plenty of that blame too but to pretend this is Democrats only fault is ridiculous.





The murder rate reached a historical low under Obama. Maybe we should ask what Trump is doing wrong since murders are skyrocketing under him. When Obama was president Fox News said bad things happen because Obama doesnt "respect" the police enough......

And she was a Senator after that. Being a VP is has little to do with being a DA. But she is as establishment Dem and a centrist, not so idealistic politician, just like Biden and Obama. The right will hate her no matter what.

I want Trump out of the White House as much as anyone... but don't delude yourself that Kamala is some centrist. She has the most liberal voting record of any Democrat in the Senate... that's not up for debate, its a fact for anyone to look up.

And Trump is packing his press conferences with fake news media like OANN and others to give him softball questions or to set up the questions the way he wants them.


I am sure the "right" would be just fine if Biden brings in small liberal independent media that worship him to ask questions like "why do you think your Presidency has been so successful after the Trump economic crash of 2020 and his abysmal handling of the Trump virus?"

That doesn't mean she's the most liberal, and I did look it up. She's in the top 5 of most categories. Good for her. You have to remember that she's from California and she's trying to make a name for herself. I hope she drags Sleepy Joe and the whole country to the left everyday. She could do that everyday for 8 years and we could still be right of center. The country, with the help of Fox News and crazy radio has slid far, far to the right, practically in the Nazi zone and no one seems to notice.

Part of me wants to see OO re-elected, just to witness the red hats freaking out from knowing that things are gonna get even worse.

There's also been a reaction against that by people who may be conservative but want no part of that scene. What you're left with is a smaller but harder core.
 
Maybe Sturg can explain why Trump installed a loyalist 5 months before the election who is actively taking measures to slow down the service? If the intent isnt to attack the election then he could have done this at any other time. There would be any number of ways for Democrats to leverage Trump to not break USPS if he dis this a year earlier. Trump is the most transparent person on Earth. You have to be really naive to not see it. He is running the largest deficits the world has seen before and all of an sudden 5 months he is so concerned with the fiscal solvency of the USPS. Give me a ****ing break.
 
The onus is on the conspiracy theorists to provide evidence of the conspiracy.

What's the conspiracy? Trumps motives? Or are you denying Trump appointed a loyalist who is changing things that result in slower service?

I just hate DAs. People think of them as valiant defenders of justice and justice doesn't matter to them. Only wins. Truth can be tossed aside if it means a win.

I don't think Harris is special in her disregard for the truth. I don't even hold it against her that much. If I waited for an honest politician, I'd be waiting forever.
