2020 Field

Who will more fundamentally change America? The left of the right? The choice is clear if yiu want individual freedom. Dont let perfect be the enemy of good.

Has Trump (or the GOP for years) done anything to actually advance individual freedom other than throw it in campaign speeches?

America is changing whether anyone likes it or not...you can see it in demographic trends. The Republicans can use this as an opportunity to return to their philosophical roots and widen their base, or abandon what they used to believe in in a regressive, cynical attempt to return to an ideal that never existed where we all had cushy manufacturing jobs and transgender folks didn't have public restrooms.

Trump wins in 2020. Then comes the '22 midterms, then the '24 election when he's gone. You think he's resisting fundamental change, but what comes next? You can only batten down the hatches for so long.

Its not demographics on its own. Its how many generations a family has been here that matters. Stopping illegals from flooding the nation will do more to stek the tide against communism than any ideology spewed from an empty politician.

Economic prosperity that we are enjoying right now because of tax reform and deregulation is showing americans the right way. We just need aboher 4 years to prove the model works.

Its not stopping at manufacturing jobs. Soon knowledge workers will face the same plight as factory workers did the last 30 years. You want a capitalistic system? Well that blind faith to the system will result in a revolution that will destroy the nation for good.

Bernie or Liz couldn't have said it better themselves...gets back to my original point

What do you do with a new 5 million unemployed Americans?

Not sure where you’re getting that number, but we’ll do what we’ve always done. This has always been the argument against capitalism, yet here we are in 2019 with a higher standard of living than anyone who has come before us, and the total number of jobs in the economy are at an all time high.

BREAKING: NC court rules 3-0 that our state House and state Senate districts

are *unconstitutionally gerrymandered* under our state constitution's guarantee

of free and fair elections. General Assembly has 2 weeks to redraw

- under court scrutiny.

A HISTORIC WIN FOR DEMOCRACY.

Obama added more jobs per month in his last 30 months than Trump did first 30. Where was the 5 million unemployed after 8 years of socialism?

GOP Texas Rep. Bill Flores announces decision NOT to seek re-election. He won the 17th congressional district with only 56.8% of the vote in a district (the 17th) that has been trending bluer every cycle:

2014: Flores 64.6%
2016: Flores 60.8%
2018: Flores 56.8%

I lost count how many (R) Congresspersons from Texas are declining re-election runs. Is it over 10 ?

Economy, immigration abortion after birth, windmills and cancer.
He had me going on that one

What you said is factually correct and completely useless for the understanding of the subject. Thanks for your contribution

Someone said if we elect a Socialist we will lose 5 million jobs. How is it not relevant to post positive job numbers from the last Socialist President? Or was Obama not a real socialist?

Because nuclear energy, given the life-cycle costs of the power plants—building them, operating them, decommissioning them, transporting and storing spent fuel, etc.—does not net out to an acceptably low carbon footprint, especially considering the risks involved. You are free to disagree, but it’s a perfectly reasonable and defensible position.
