2020 Field

https://www.pennlive.com/news/2020/...a-with-many-planning-to-vote-against-him.html

Some interesting poll data out of PA. Biden leading by 9 points. 55% of thos supporting Biden say they are voting against Trump not for Biden. Also Republican registration jumped by 160k vs Democrats only 30k increase from 2016. Democrats had 800k more registered voters in 2016 so they gap has narrowed but still 650k more registered Democrats overall in PA.

Average of recent state polls indicates that PA is the tipping point state right now.

Those averages show:

creepy joe up 8 in michigan

creepy joe up 7 in florida

creepy joe up 6 in pennsylvania

creepy joe up 5 in wisconsin

he needs to win 3 of those four

his national lead is 8...given that his lead in the tipping point state is 6, this confirms that the GOP still has a structural advantage of about 2 percentage points in the electoral college

He is really gonna go there.

"if you did it right years"

Trump on litigation delaying the winner.....

"moving the election is a non-starter right'

TLDR Trump - "no"

what is she polling ?

https://www.newsweek.com/libertarian-green-party-candidates-are-making-surprising-appearances-2020-election-polls-1519464

As the 2020 presidential election is now less than four months away, Green Party candidate Howie Hawkins and Libertarian Party candidate Jo Jorgensen are registering support in national polls, signaling that their respective messages resonate with a segment of voters frustrated with Democrats and Republicans.

Polling conducted by CNBC/Change Research from July 10 to 12 showed Hawkins with support from 2 percent of respondents, while Jorgensen was backed by 3 percent.

It;s not let or let in there are qualifying numbers established long before

which was the 2nd half of my question, does she qualify ?

its not really an accurate reflection without ranked choice polling. I think she would garner 8-12% support with real polling. I understand we dont have ranked choice voting but it would atleast be an accurate reflection of the interest people have in her. I dont care what the system currently is, its designed to not give people an option other than Republicrats.

who of you does organizational work for a 3rd party ?

how many elected (L) are there nationwide ? local -state or federal

are any (L) running for a House seat ?

Has (L) done work to register voters ?
////////////////////

my point is, until a 3rd party builds a base --- they will be a niche movement
random people on the internet is not an electoral base

Perot and John Anderson are the two 3rd party candidates who made the cut. I think both were polling above 10%.

Not sure why you think any of these questions are relevant to the issue at hand. There's an (L) candidate running in the 2020 presidential election...that candidate is on ballots in enough states to earn enough EV's to win that election. That should be the criteria for an invite to a debate. Not an arbitrary 15% polling number, set by a commission founded by the chairs of the DNC & RNC, who obviously are going to rig the rules to keep 3rd party candidates off the stage.

Anyone who is in enough ballots to win 270 EC votes should be on the debate stage.

What is the argument against that?

The argument against that is the people that organize the debates dont see it that way.

Are you going to start your own POTUS debates ?

Is there an (L) organization with enough clout to start another debate system ?

Interesting documentary about challenging the status quo is Vote, the PBS 2 parter on the 19th / early 20th century women's movement that secured the vote
