the sainted John Bolton is an example...not only a threat in his case...but an actual investigation with a grand jury...just for the harassment...they will never charge him because that would open them up to discovery

first they came for John Bolton...

at the end of the day a judge is going to order that the federal government pay for the legal expenses of Bolton and his publisher...which as a taxpayer I'm not too happy about

i posted a lot about it in the covid thread...Paul Romer (Nobel prize winning economist) has proposed massive high frequency testing as the best way to avoid this awful choice between lives and livelihoods...there are variants to his plan...but i look at my alma mater which is testing everyone on campus twice a week...they are doing very well...but they have an infrastructure and the resources to do that...baseball is doing high frequency testing...so is the NBA...some companies like Amazon are doing it

so it can be done...but to scale it up to the whole country would have required laidership, $$, a plan, and commitment at the federal level

make that commitment and we wouldn't be in this situation of re-opening schools with widespread infections and setting ourselves up for a disaster when flu season arrives in earnest

with high frequency testing a lot of these small businesses like restaurants and gyms that are going under would have a chance at survival

and the old folks could hug their grandchildren

Case likely wont make it passed discovery. Bolton says he was given a verbal go ahead but for whatever reason the written documentation of this was being delayed.o Obviously there might have been political pressure on her. Then she was replaced with a political appointee of Trump who magically decided there was still classified stuff in the book.

Bolton is an American citizen being attacked by the machinery of government for exercising his free speech rights.

The machinery of government was brought to bear against Michael Cohen in an attempt to intimidate him as well from speaking out.

Of course there was also the use of helicopters and other elements of the armed forces against the protesters in Lafayette Square.

Under very poorly chosen one we have seen unprecedented attacks by OUR government against our fellow citizens trying to suppress free speech.

Hopefully Tucker and company will look into it.

Trump lies far more often than the media does, yet you stay silent on that. I've pointed out several lies that you've helped spread, and instead you blast Twitter and Facebook for exposing those lies and removing them from their platforms.

I’d perfer a liar who put America first; challenged China, drove the economy to the best its ever been and stuck up for law and order but if you’d rather want a truthful president who lied about us keeping our insurance if we liked it, Let China run all over us, and threw money at our enemies, you can back that guy.
