I think there's a better way to answer the question - "I'm not a fan of adding more SC Justices but it's been before and it's a legal option. It's a possibility that wouldn't be my first choice. We'll have to see."

That isn't a lie. Whether Trump has never condemned white nationalist groups wasn't the question. Trump has avoided/ been vague about white nationalist groups when pressed in the past. He sure does spend a lot of time condemning ANTIFA and BLM though.
