If the season ended today, the match ups would be as follows...

American League:

No. 1 Rays vs No. 8 Blue Jays
No. 2 White Sox vs No. 7 Indians
No. 3 A's vs No. 6 Astros
No. 4. Twins vs No. 5 Yankees

National League:

No. 1 Dodgers vs No. 8 Brewers
No. 2 Braves vs No. 7 Reds
No. 3 Cubs vs No. 6 Marlins
No. 4 Padres vs No. 5 Cardinals

Okay, I found the rule....

The first tiebreaker is head-to-head record (if applicable). If that’s also a tie, the next tiebreaker is intradivision record. If that’s still a tie, the next is record in the final 20 division games (plus one until the tie is broken).

Based on this math. The braves are 11-9 vs our division over the last 20, while the Cubs are 12-8 vs their division over their last 20 games.

The have 3 more vs the Pirates, while we have 3 more vs the Fish. They then play the White Sox for 3, while we finish up with the Red Sox
