Notice how exactly zero of the smart teams made meaningful transactions this deadline?

You don’t trade bullets to make a run in a season you are plane ride from having Acuna and Fried out for 3 weeks.

I wish we made a trade to pick up more Milone types (like Walker etc). But those type of guys don’t meaningfully move the needle.

And who made a ton of moves? A team that's desperate like the Padres or teams like the Marlins who haven't seen the playoffs in forever.
