2022 Elections

GOP candidates scrubbing the words "abortion" and "Trump" from their websites. Boy, if they could only go back to 2015 and abort the Trump candidacy.
 
America, including enough of the GOP to make a difference, is rejecting the MAGA clown show candidates.

I was circumcised without my consent and I never think about it. But I'm 1000% against what some crazy Muslims do to young girls. They should be hung, imho.

Do you support a "trans child" wanting to have a surgery to make their body look more like the gender they desire to be?

There are multiple children's hospitals okay with basically chopping dicks off of kids if their parents are okay with it (or vice versa... adding one via a chunk of their arm)... kids well under 16 even... before their brains are even close to being fully developed. And how insane are these parents (I can't imagine thinking "wow my son wants to identify as a girl at 16... surely that won't change when his brain has fully developed... let's just go chop it off). I mean it is happening... it is on their official websites. The far left's policies have opened this Pandora's box and I don't know anyone can argue different. It is not okay. I'm not like sturg and gonna call all leftists pedophiles as I've seen just as many powerful righties convicted for pedophilia or child porn... I just think its poorly thought out policy and the fear of being shunned by the extra crazy woke crowd.

At the end of the day it's not my kids. I dont like a lot of things parents do with their kids but it's their kids. How can I tell them my kids are mine to raise if I want to get all up in their kids buisness. Freedom is not being allowed to only choose government approved goods choices. People really need to understand that if you want to be left alone that means you also have to leave others alone.

If a parent in their own home decided to chop off the dick of their 14 year old son... What would you say?
 
The same way I would if a parent tried to do brain surgery on their kid. It's a medical procedure. Doing so by anyone but a medical professional is and has always been a crime. But like I said, I think it's as wrong as wrong gets, but I have no desire to lord over people.
 
Indoctrinating your kid into some crazy ideology/religion seems just as bad to me.

But I'm against sex changes for minors and any hospital doing them.

I think there's a healthy amount of nuance that gets lost in any debate in the modern political sphere.

I agree that life altering surgeries shouldn't be done unless medically necessary before someone is fully developed. That being said, I'm not sure who's doing genital surgery on people under 18 as it's not the standard

We work closely with patients and families to make decisions about surgery age and timing. For gender-affirming genital procedures, patients must be 18 or older by the time of surgery. For other surgeries, timing depends on many factors, like the patient’s stage of puberty and how surgery fits with the rest of their gender-related healthcare. A typical age is mid-teens or older.

In my minimal research it seems like no one will "chop off a 14 year old's penis" at least not any of the ones listed.

I personally think it's hard. I don't have great information and I think in a world where it's hard to stand out there are people who'll make a mistake and go to get surgery when it's not something true to them as a means to stand out.
 
Since the abortion ruling Democrats have outperformed the partisan lean in the 5 special elections by 6 points. This all combined with Trump helping some bad candidates win primaries has caused the Democrats chances to skyrocket. I would now be surprised if they lose both sides of a Congress. Really excited about Fetterman in PA, he has been pushing Biden on legalization. I will take any politician on either side who is strong on legalization. Even if its Matt Gaetz, who is a strong legalization supporter.

it has been attested to by men who have been circumcised as adults that circumcision reduces sexual pleasure

just saying

seems to me children should not be subjected to it if that is a possibility

given that it is the consensus on the part of historians that Abraham was a mythical rather than an historical figure i'm pretty sure that God never ordered such a barbaric thang
