Remember when Republicans were all kinds of upset when Joe Biden said we may not know the winner of some races for a few days. Going on day 3 and we still dont know 100% who the winner of a few races are.
Honestly it makes sense if you can’t get a viable replacement on the ballot in time and the voters don’t like the alternative. Voting for a write-in at that point just leads to the candidate you don’t want to elect winning and passing laws on your behalf. We’ve seen Republicans do it in the past as well, and it frankly is semi-reasonable.
To make it clear, if you had to choose between voting for a dead conservative or AOC, would you seriously vote for AOC?
