I haven’t looked at AZ voting demographics, but I would not be shocked if this were true. Weird dynamic in politics right now where center left is an enemy to progressive while MAGA wages war with center right folks.
Meanwhile, coalition builders like Polis, DeSantis, and Youngkin clean clocks in general elections.

Desantis 'cleaned clocks' because Florida is in essence California now for Republicans. People are taking that margin completely out of context.
I'm thrilled we are against the McCain republicans that sold voters out every single chance they got while sending those same voters kids to die overseas. **** them and anyone who thinks we need to pander to those losers.

Because all other states decided to take rights away from their citizens and Desantis didn't (eventually).
I have never once said that Desantis isn't a good Gov but his margin is not indicative of a national picture of the country or his ability to 'build coalitions'.

Being against politicians and being against a group of voters are different things. No issue with the former. Lake did the latter. No surprise she lost what should have been a layup
He never had to perform against him and Trump never got a chance to be on the ballot after Republicans from around the country moved to Florida.
I have no respect for idiot voters that think McCain is a hero and that the traditional GOP is a good choice moving forward.

DeSantis is to be preferred to very poorly chosen one cuz yaknow he is sane plus he has the maturity to accept a result that goes against him. Plus he's smart enough to campaign for someone like O'Dea in Colorado.
I probably will disagree with many of his decisions if he becomes president, but I don't doubt he will try to do what is best for the country and will be able to draw the distinction between the best interests of the country and his personal best interests.
These are basic requirements for anyone who aspires to high office. DeSantis meets them. very poorly chosen one doesnt.
The sooner the GOP moves toward sanity and sane and qualified candidates the better it will be for the country.
