Democrats did zero self reflection. Well, besides learning that you can indeed buy uninformed voters with bad policy (see the GA runoff ads on Covid stimulus relief, student debt forgiveness, etc)

MAGA is fine whatever. I think DeSantis is fairly MAGA. But MAGA won’t be successful in any relevant way if they don’t at least pretend to care about center right moderates.

MAGA will win resoundingly when we start collecting ballots weeks before the election. Our people are busy with work and can't always vote. In addition, we have a large segment that is apathetic to all the rot in the system but if you can garner some of their participation by removing the 'effort' required to vote then big positive.

Desantis has become MAGA but we still have no clue what his foreign policy would be which is a lynchpin of the MAGA agenda.
 
There's a lot to like about MAGA. But Donald Trump ain't it. He is a loser. A cry baby. An ineffective leader who let his enemies steamroll him at every turn. He continued to staff his team with people who stabbed him in the back. He continues to fall into obvious traps like Kanye.

Can't rely on him. He's proven that. give me JD Vance or Master or DeSantis or several others. Trump needs to retire in peace

You are on record repeatedly saying he was the best president of your life.

Can't take that away now.

We also didn't even know this deep state apparatus existed and that establishment republicans would do whatever is necessary to stab their voters in the back. If you thought Trump could fix all of the countries ales in one term then you expected more than I did.

NONE of this is known to Americans if not for Trump. NONE OF IT.

I'm not taking it away.

He was the best President of my life.

But in the biggest crisis our country has faced since WW2... he failed so miserably it is unforgivable. He has proven over and over again he cannot stand up to the enemy... he bends over for them

Thank you for service Mr. Trump now go away for someone more effective

Why are you so sure someone else would be more effective?

Did Trump fail or did the deep state apparatus ensure that he was rendered useless. Just saying he should have overcame that completely contradicts everything we have learned about how government is actually ran.

I hope if it isn't Trump the next guy is even 50% as successful as Trump was and doesn't get us into a massive war with Russia or some random middle eastern country.

I'm not sure someone else will be more effective.

But I am sure that Trump can't do what it takes. Is what it is. He had 4 years and folded like a cheap suit . deep state, media, covid, whatever it was... he was ineffective against it

What Democrats took away from 2016 that they can lose even when getting millions more votes and needed to target specific states. Not much reason to self reflect when they were very close to winning 3 straight Presidential races. Few have done it in modern times and some losers dont even win 2 in a row.

Nobody has had the impact Trump has had revealing the administrative state that sits above any elected politician.
