With Reynolds losing more control and his or
production falling off pretty dramatically from a year ago, I would imagine he and Strider likely have similar FV at this point. And that is only because Strider is a rookie. If Strider continues to pitch like this over the next year, he would be one of the most valuable players in the league.
So that would not only be a massive overpay by us, but it would potentially be historically bad.
Benintendi to the Yankees. I guess he's willing to get the jab for a ring.

Dont see them beating Houston.
What about Charlie Blackmon?
Dont see them beating Houston.
did you see the Braves beating the Dodgers or Astros last year?
No on Blackmon.
Peralta is my choice. Should be relatively cheap. Decent glove. Good bat.
The D-Backs never seem to move anyone though, so I fully expect him to stay in AZ through the rest of the season.
Doubt we see a lefty hitter even if Rosario sucks. With Duvall out we really need a righty
They just need a good hitter who isn't useless vs RHP in the event Rosario can't even serve as a platoon option.
While that guy is probably going to be a RHH, he can't be someone so awful vs RHP that Snit is forced to play an equally awful Rosario...or Mike Ford.
Someone like Drury or Merrifield still fit the best I think. They can pitch in at 2B until Albies is ready, and then slide into whatever role is needed in LF. That role could be anything from platoon partner with Rosario to full time guy.
I'd like to see AA completely replace Rosario and start platooning Harris, but I doubt that's going to happen at this point in the season. Throwing cash at Conforto to see if he bounces back is tempting though.
