The Mets have had some of my favorite drafts the last few years. With that said, that franchise has a habit of mismanaging prospects once they get to the upper minors.

Strider had a tough time throwing strikes consistently too in college

That’s who I thought of when I saw him. Hopefully Strider has some words of wisdom for him.

They have a habit of mismanaging everything. Houck will probably be traded for a player with 1-2 good years left that they then give a 10 year contract to that they regret by year 3.

Houck as a HS prospect is like 5 years away from the majors. With the Mets Lindor will probably be an albatross by then.
