I'm not bothered by it...

...but more likely than not these watches are manufactured in China. The $100K one has all the hallmarks of a tourbillon made in China.

So I guess my question is why isn't MAGA bothered by it?

There are plenty of perfectly good American watchmakers. Sure, they might be more expensive to employ, but business is not all about maximizing profits. "Efficiency" is a concept best left to naive textbooks that don't understand the real world. We can't have free trade with China. They employ slave labor. Enriching them makes us an active participant in our own demise. They're an existential threat to our way of life and our very future as a nation.

These aren't my arguments...they're MAGA's arguments.

Maybe the moderator will ask Vance about this at the debate.

If they weren't bothered by him boasting about getting away with grabbing women by the pussy it is pretty unlikely they are going to be bothered by him selling a made in china product, whether it be a watch or a baseball cap. He provides some sort of psychosocial validation to some needy people. That's about it.

I'm sure not everybody in MAGA is concerned with every single thing being 100% American made. I'm sure his supporters and Trump himself have stuff not American made in their houses.

Harris isn't pulling PA with less than a 2% polling lead. Wisconsin seems very likely to go Trump as well at this point. I'm also not convinced she will pull VA.

Harris also has universally less support than either Hillary or Biden. Unions are largely supporting Trump at this point.

I legit think NC is a better chance for Harris than either WI and PA at this point. MI is leaning blue at the moment, but still close enough that's it's a toss up.

It was mentioned that the hurricane preparation in NC messed up Atlas' polling a bit.

I totally agree with you that Harris could lose the rust belt. However, for that to happen the following must be true

1. Polls are similarly off to 2020 in Trump’s direction

2. Harris’s narrower lead is due to her being less popular than Biden, and not due to more accurate polling.

It would not shock me if that were true. No one has these states as anything more than a coin toss (is a 60% probability really all that different than 50%?).

NC much like Georgia last year is in the "I will believe it when I see it" category. Biden was leading the final NC polls and lost by about 1%. Well, we never got any forensic audits to prove he lost so we dont really know if he lost, but thats the results we have. Give Trump a 2 point swing in polls and I think thats pretty accurate. Probably add another .5% in Trumps favor in any state with total Republican control because we know they will do shenanigans.

Going to be fantastic when Trump wins by a tremendous amount in the electoral college and we revisit all the idiotic posts here the past year. The momentum will continue to be on trumps side and he will bring a bunch of congressional races with him.

His margin in NC will be at least 2.5-3 come Election Day.

Teamsters internal polling was a harbinger of things to come for this election.

And then you have to consider Gallup party identification switch as well (may encompass your popularity point but it is still being overlooked in polling unweighted/weighted methodologies).

Most MAGA understands the push for domestic manufacturing is a commitment that will bear fruit in decades and not immediately. You know this as well but well you have your reasons for playing ignorant.
