I know FEMA relief and congressional budgets are more nuanced than this tweet implies, but this is simply a very poor look for Kamala. You simply have to promise as much help as necessary in this scenario and give people actual hope. Talking about $750 for groceries and acting like that is some huge benefit to these people is practically a slap in the face.
Especially with the reports that FEMA does not have enough in the budget to cover the remaining hurricane season. This coming off the heels of another multi-billion dollar Biden Administration aid package to Ukraine and the 200 billion currently being wasted on supporting illegal immigrants. And the best we can offer our own citizens whose lives have been destroyed is $750 for groceries....
These towns that have been destroyed should start flying the Ukraine flag and maybe then they'll receive some real aid. Either that or these people should burn their identities and fly to Mexico and cross the border back to the US. They'll end up receiving more money that way.

The press held their feet to the fire on their hypocrisy of bodily autonomy and the covid mandates
Or really pushed them to say if they would allow third trimester abortions, which is more radical than all of Europe
Or exposed the lie about the rich paying their fair share, and extracting the wealth of all billionaires would fund the government for merely 8 months
Or exposed the failure of government agencies like the dept of education and made them explain why it should exist
Or asked to explain why welfare programs have coincided with more welfare required
I could go on and on, but you get it.
Republicans are ALWAYS pushed to defend things, are always demanded to play in hypothetical like "would you support a 12 year who was raped to be denied abortion healthcare" etc
The left requires a friendly press to survive. Their policies are indefensible

How nice would it be if a moderator could simply say to the Democrat - "You just mentioned that border crossings are down compared to the Trump admin but all records show they are up sharply. What basis are you saying that they are down and why do you think the data is showing they are up?".
We would never get something like that because its a completely rigged game but people act like it isn't. Not just the idiots on the left but reasonable intelligent people on the right/center.

The difference here is R chooses to engage with D friendly press, whereas D doesn’t. The closest you will get is Bernie Sanders going on Rogan or Alex’s podcast (and those two would gladly support socialist ideology as long as the candidate had the right positions on social issues).
I think Trump will be the last guy to toss the MSM a bone. There’s just no upside for R to engage with them directly.

I think Trump can survive a hostile press. Vance really hasn’t. Harris and Biden clearly wouldn’t. Hilary didn’t (surprisingly imo). Obama is the only D candidate in my lifetime that could.
This would require someone actually addressing the issue with her or if she puts herself in a position to be questioned about it.
Neither of those will happen so no.
Think about how much of that clown show SC nomination impacted the vote in 2022 as well.
Its a rigged game and too many smart people are pretending otherwise.

I think the more appropriate comparison was the intense criticism Justice Alito received because his wife flew a flag outside their property.
I’m fine leaving Kamala alone for Doug’s bad actions, but it’s silly that we won’t apply that same standard for more trivial matters.
