I love how we are still pretending that there isn't a low propensity voter that has come out for Trump like nobody beore and that blue collar workers support him over Dems for the first time in decades.

Doesn't make RDS a bad guy - Tremendous governor but nationally he isn't as viable as Trump.

What would have most likely happen is that they would have hid Biden from debating RDS and just slam him on the 6 week bill.
Maybe it would have been a close election but otherwise I think Biden would have most likely won.
The sad reality is that we live in a country where 6 weeks is an extreme position that motivates a lot of leftist voters and moderates in key swing states.

A lot of truth here. If we can move the overton window a bit right might open the way for RDS in 2028 although Vance is
formidable.
RDS runs circles around Trump and probably Vance as far as the ability to lead.

RDS is a victim of the fact that MAGA voters want a show instead of ruthless competence
RDS governing is high quality for sure - We have no clue what it looks like for Trump/Vance to be in control of a state with a supermajority (one that Trump started building since 2016).
Otherwise, I just don't see a path anymore for RDS. Vance is quickly becoming the darling of the MAGA voter and doesn't have Trumps warts which will keep the never trumpers in his corner.
I could see a path where RDS becomes AG and leads the prosecution against the deep state (somehting I would support and have always wanted RDS in the administration). This would vault RDS back to the top but we will see if his advisors allow him to do that.
This will be funny when Vance is the president - Wonder what nonsense you will spew then....

It's part of that but it's also the fact that independents don't favor RDS.
As I said time may change this.
Of course they don't know because his whole campaign was based on attacking Trump from the right so that is what the country saw.
It was a stupid decision aimed at dividing the Trump base of the 2024 eleciton.
RDS wasn't smart enough to see he was used as a pawn. His only hope is to get a prominent role in the Trump admin because once he isn't Gov of FL anymore he will lose all recognition.

If that's Vance - Vance will be the nominee. If Vance is a future Mike Pence, it will be someone else - maybe Kari Lake!
And I know based on your history that you really really really do believe that 46.8% number in 2020.
