For real... Trump is a King and should have been anointed!
No but when 60+% of the party supports him a primary is silly and counterproductive.
If that wasn't the case then let the peoples choice win.
For real... Trump is a King and should have been anointed!
No you are saying its Trumps fault that he isn't in the white house or that mid-terms didn't go the way they should have when deep down you know it doesn't have anything to do with Trump.
THis is what I call fake outrage.
No but when 60+% of the party supports him a primary is silly and counterproductive.
If that wasn't the case then let the peoples choice win.
At this point in 2015 Trump was polling at 1%
What I'm saying is Trump has had 3 (actually 4) chances to overcome these issues and has failed 3 (actually 4) times. HIs cult has become addicted to losing because they can maintain their victim complex. **** that. I am tired of losing but claiming victory and just you wait next election we'll show them!
As RDS explained... he will know the laws of every state and exploit them to win elections. He said there are no more excuses for losing... at this point we have to win. with what do you disagree with?
'Overcome' these issues.
Which issues are you talking about? (1) Former/Current President/FBI/CIA conspiring to create a fake Russia hoax story that marred his whole presidency and didn't allow him to make the right global peace deals? (2) The obvious election steal in the swing states? (3) THe release a bioweapon because things were going so well in Q3/4 2019 (Please pretend that they weren't going well. I'd love to here that argument). (4) Fake stories about Kavanaugh rape before the 2018 mid term? (5) The 'botched' ballot harvesting operation for the RNC that recently showed they wasted tens of millions of dolalrs on convicts?
Should I go on?
DAMN TRUMP? WHAT A LOSER! HOW COULD HE NOT GET OVER THESE 'NORMAL' ISSUES?!?!?!
What a fantastic analogy and is definitely fitting in the current environment. Sheesh man - You could not have a worse analysis at this point.
If he wins the nomination - do you expect to him win the general election? Is so, why?
huh?
4 years of Biden that followed 4 years of his brilliant presidency. Continuation of increased support from Hispanics and Black men.
Ballot harvesting operations will be done right and hopefully out of the corrupt RNC's hands.
50k votes away from winning in 2020 despite all the lying/cheating/stealing/etc....
You act like he 'lost' by a significant margin and by honest means.
Yeah 4 years Biden is the best argument you can make. That's not an inspiring reason.
What has he done to drive the ballot harvesting initiative? He recently again reiterated his support for same day voting. And from what I can tell, his hand-picked chair of the RNC won't return Scott Pressler's phone calls
He lost by a narrow margin in many states, which he will need to flip. But he has been unable to carry GA, AZ, or PA since he took office in any important statewide race
He also won by a very narrow and thin margin in 2016, need I remind you.
I believe he has lost more supporters than he has gained since 2020
Thought this was pretty straightforward.
Maybe you can explain outside of a number how the 2016 primary is similar to the 2024 primary.
Nobody is carrying PA anymore - The rules are absurd there despite many courts ruling that the laws were changed unconstitutionally.
What has he done on Ballot Harvesting? Well since the RNC is worthless and corrupt he has do it himself:
https://www.cnn.com/2023/03/15/politics/trump-republicans-mail-in-voting/index.html
YOU believe he has lost more supporters. Currently the polling doesn't suggest that but we are far away from when it matters.
I certinaly know what isn't helping....A candidate with effectively a less than 5% chance of winning poisoning the well at the behest of the traditional republican party.
"I'll move to the middle in the general"
SUCKERS!
If he moves to the middle during the general, he will be to the right of where Trump is today
Trump has always been a democrat and is showing that now that he is facing legitimate criticism of the left... I thought his stance on abortion may have swayed you a bid... sad to see you fell in line as always
DO you mean his position that stopped the federal mandate of allowing abortion?
Or the position of sensibility that will lead to less abortions long term than a childish radical position that will lead to legalized abortion in the whole country?
The point is primaries aren't decided in May the year prior of the election. I'm grateful we let the primary process play out rather than anointing the Bush dynasty another shot at it, aren't you?
Trump had an uncontested primary in 2020 and he lost. That cost us 4 years. It is unreasonable for you to suggest that voters who want to win don't deserve to hear from other candidates... especially a candidate who has had has much impact as RDS has. And was - up until his slaughter election victory - the darling of MAGA
In 2015, Trump was an outsider and came in suggesting he would balance the budget (he didn't)... he would build the wall (he didn't)... he would end the Middle East wars (he didn't)... he would drain the swamp (he didn't)... he would deport the illegals (he didn't)... and on and on and on
now in 2030 he's saying the same things but has an actual record. Since 2016 he's never had to respond to an actual criticism from the right. Now he does... and you should expect him to be able to handle that, and answer it in a way that is satisfying rather than saying he got duped over and over again
So slaughter some babies today to save more in the future?
There was no Republican figure in the 2016 primary so trying ot inject an argument "Well Trump was 1%" this time is just more dishonest tactics to prolong something that everyone knows what the final results would be and the process doing nothing but hurting the general chances.
But have at it man. GREAT STRATEGY TO WIN!!!
A position that will lead to less abortions long term is one that I support.
Thought you did as well.
