2024 Field

well how do those two positions reconcile?

you're playing both sides.

those 10K babies aren't alive without the strict abortion laws... you are against the strict abortion laws.

What am I missing here?

I'm well aware that you are missing something thats obvious to anyone.

But continue to use your tactics of "You didn't answer the questions" or "Tell me in your own words".

Shows how honest you are....

no seriously... how can you say "the strict abortion laws are a mistake" while also saying "its obviously good that the 10k babies are alive today"

reconcile those two positions. don't play both sides of it

The fact that you think this is playing both sides is very revealing.

But if you understood my CONSISTENT position (just like my CONSISTENT position on the vaccine) you would understand that I want the least amount of babies killed over a long period of time and not just short term victories that will be undone over the long term resulting in MORE babies CUMULATIVELY being killed.

The fact you are willfully ignoring this very clear position shows that you lost any desire to have open and honest debate.

Tell me what is wrong about this assumption of your position.

"The strict abortion laws today were a mistake because it will lead to more abortion in the future."

Is that your position?

teethe seeing the light about lake house boy

Which part of his position is very clear?

From what I can tell, his position is this:

"The strict abortion laws today were a mistake because it will lead to more abortion in the future."

But he's also happy that 10,000 babies were spared.

So can you help me out in u derstanding what I'm missing?

It was that difficult for you to follow huh? You change arguments mid-way to suit your needs.

The debate was never about THOSE abortion law changes. Its about continuing to promote more extreme abortion laws (despite if I agree with them or not) and how that will impact future elections.

COntinue on with your false equivalencies so you can feel good that you "GOTEEM".

I do not believe this minute difference will make Trump President.

What else ya got

I've already listed out the reasons why I think Trump will win.

1) 2020 was only 50K votes
2) Laws were illegally changed to help D's cheat (SOme of these have been pulled back in key areas)
3) R's were caught flat footed on these changes and how to take advaantage of them. That is not the case now.
4) MOderates who voted Biden are having massive buyers remorse
5) Trump has continued to lead the charge on changing the demographic voting map

yeah its difficult to follow because you are contradicting yourself playing both sides.

You criticized RDS' abortion laws - the 6 weeks one. That's the same law Texas signed.

So which laws are you so critical of?

Running a candidate with extreme abortion laws with a RECORD of signing those laws is a loser nationally. This is not that hard to understand.

bumping for clarity.

is this your position? if not, what is?

Running a candidate with a record of extreme abortion laws is a loser.

At a state level its great because he is in a DEEP RED state so it doesn't hurt him politically.

I can't believe how you fail to grasp these basic concepts.

what is a loser is this trump mentality of "we don't want to do what is right because it will make the left mad at us"

no spine. weak. coward.

Further, Desantis has made himself UNELECTABLE on a national level:

1) Abortion position
2) Trade positions (good luck coming close to winning key rust belt states)
3) War positions (good luck winning low propensity Trump voters that voted because of how he went fully against MIC)
4) Comment about shooting migrants
5) Spectacle of sending migrants to marthas vineyard

If you think any of the above helps him with independents and low propensity voters then we will have to respectfully disagree.

Great response to the fact that you know how the abortion issues plays nationally (ESPECIALLY in the states that need to be won).

I see... so any governor (Like Lake) or senator (like Vance) who may have Presidential aspirations, cannot support strict abortion laws because the left will get mad at them!!

by the way, which states did Trump carry in 2020 that RDS will lose because of abortion?

They can't make it part of their campaign issue. We need to do what the Dems do. GO to PA and say they won't end fracking and then do it anyway. Can't believe you are acting this stupid.

Abortion is one leg of the policy positions for RDS that will have him lose vote share. So all in all he will lose states that Trump won (without the cheating)

im glad to see the trumpets embracing the candidate who is running to the middle

so weak and cowardly. he cannot do what is necessary because of his obsessive need to be accepted by the left, who wish to put him jail.
