1) Sorry, I wouldn't read any rag that said a riot was an insurrection. Hard to overthrow a government without weapons.
2) Trump had the legal right to challenge an election. Several states agreed that Pence should delay the vote because of irregularities. I know you people are brainwashed but there was no insurrection.
3) Trump isn't even charged with an insurrection.

1 - Nothing says very stable genius like needing to avoid people that dont agree with you. We both know you would be pimping these same peoples opinions if you liked what they said.
2 - No one has ever said Trump doesnt have the right to challenge the election. He lost all his challenges. Then he tried overturning it through illegal means. Every state certified their vote. There is a process for objecting to the certified electoral votes if there is an issue.

He never tried to overturn the election by illegal means. I showed you that 1) Trump can use electors 2 ) He didn't do anything fraudulent regardless of what Jack Smith says. Noticed how all of this stopped when Pence said no? Once his legal options were exhausted Trump stopped. He followed the law so all of this insurrection stuff is nonsense so he did follow the process. You would have a point if he had continued.

Trump had his fake electors submit their fraudulent certifications as if they were legitimate. Pence didnt tell Trump no he told Trump what he was asking him to do was illegal. Trump then engaged in a pressure campaign culminating with sending an angry mob at him. Trump didnt even stop AFTER Joe Biden was inaugurated much less when his legal options ran out.
Please share with the class what Democrats did in 2000 and 2016. I could use a good laugh.

That stunt Georgia pulled wouldn't have passed an appellate court if she had been found not able to hold office. That election ban stuff without actually being charged with insurrection is a holdover from the civil war to keep ex-confederates out of office. The SCOTUS would laugh that off.

Hawaii had a reasonable chance to flip based on how close it was. Hawaii did alternate electors in case their side prevailed in the recount. Trump doing so would have been fine. Then after their frivolous lawsuits were rejected they still tried to use them. They tried to have them delivered to Pence in the Capitol building. They tried to pressure Pence into accepting them and rejecting the real electors votes. They tried to create a false narrative of voter fraud to justify it. Trying to get Pence to send it back to the states was plan C. If Trump stopped trying to shoehorn his fake electors in when it was clear the state wouldn't flip he wouldn't be indicted for it.
