Help me understand the maga position... which is in this thread stating that we must first win elections and then pass baby-saving legislation.

How is that not precisely what we did in Florida, Texas, Iowa, and others? And why was doing so a "terrible thing"?

If it was wrong to pass these after winning elections in 2022? Why is it not going to be wrong after winning an election in 2024?

(I'm fully aware MAGA doesn't have much experience winning elections, so they may not understand that there are some who actually did and advanced the policies they supposedly support)

Come on man, you think people on the restricted states don't just go to the next state over. As I predicted the restricted states are literally trying to criminalize leaving the state for an abortion. For all the US abortions are up since roe v wade was overturned.



And murder and rape are legal terms. We do allow killing and unwanted sexual contact in certain situations. We even allow human trafficking.

Trump isn’t complicated. Instead of considering what policies he supports, ask yourself in what way would Trump benefit more and you have your answer.

it really isn't more complex than that. he is all about himself... and whoever takes advantage of that (Newsom, Xi, etc) earns his praise.

Meanwhile, from a competence and policy standpoint... all he did was fail. The magadonians don't want competence... they want a show. And at this point, the grist has been so good, I'm not sure they actually want to win anymore. It's much easier to raise money on a grievance

they already have their excuses for 2024:

- DeSantis supports jumping ship
- Abortion
- and of course, STOLEN
