The comparison was always trump from early-mid 2020 vs desantis from late 21.

Like most other things you will all come around to realizing I was right about the faux campaign from the beginning.

Look man- you can hold the opinion RDS had a fake run bc of a brief flip flop on Ukraine (which your boy supports sending more resources to lol)

Record of a Gov in a state that was reliably red for years versus a president who had both parties fully against him.

10. Trump promised mass deportations during his presidency... but he deported less people than Obama, and publicly supported legislation for amnesty and Dreamers

State houses have been red for more than two decades now. Top of hte ballot voting in a state has very little to do with local politics.

Ands its the state houses that allow a Gov to 'get things done' when elected.

True, but the state had become dangerously close to becoming purple like Arizona. RDS barely won his first election to a 20 point win in the last governor race. It was trending purple because of the progressive cities like Orlando but has become solid red now.

I am just adding a piece of information that is not considered when the “record comparison” comes up because it’s a key factor of getting your record pushed through. Florida is a beautiful state and has a lot of natural draws which has been a major driver of its oooulation growth for decades.

These are just facts. If you want to say RDS is a good gov then great i agree. But if we are pretending he has been this change agent that drew Florida up from the swamps and made it great in 4 short years then that’s where I disagree.
