So you think Nixon couldnt have been prosecuted for Watergate? Presidents have immunity for performance of his duties. Trying to rig the election so he could win is not a duty of the President. He was acting for the benefit of his campaign and himself personally not the country. I know your response, stopping voter fraud is is a duty of the President. And it is. And there are official channels and powers at his disposal to deal with that. He can file lawsuits to stop illegal actions. He can ask his AG to investigate. He can ask his FBI director to investigate. He did all those things and he lost the lawsuits. His AG told him his claims were BS. His FBI director told him his claims were BS. He isnt being prosecuted for doing any of that. A person has to be very naive to believe Trump was genuinely trying to stop election fraud for the sake of America and not solely to benefit himself personally. This is why all the evidence that Trump either knew or should have known he lost are so relevant to the case. Trump didnt give two ****s about Russia meddling in the election when he won but all of a sudden when he loses he is the noble paragon of virtue just wanting to protect election integrity and the fact that he lost is just a coincidence...... only the dumbest of person would believe that.

Proving Trump knew or should have known there was no fraud is a central part of the case sir. I am not like you who thinks people can be convicted just because you personally consider them to be a liar. Jack Smith is going to march in dozens of Trumps own people to testify they told him his claims were BS. In a court of law it holds a lot of weight when its shown that the people who voted for Trump, supported his re-election campaign, and in many cases stood to personally benefitted from his re-election told him his claims were BS. Claiming Trumps own VP, AG, FBI director, etc were in a conspiracy to stop Trump from exposing voter fraud is a defense Trump can go with, its just not one thats going to be taken seriously.
