Trump was the overwhelming favorite. Why start a mud slinging contest that only hurts the party? If your down in the polls I understand the mud slinging you have to make up ground but not when your starting in a position of strength. The answer is it hurt his ego that anyone would dare run against him. Everything is to feed his ego.

To stop whats happening now - NBD (mostly their donors) had a plan to damage Trump for the general because it was obvious he was going to run. As a nice cherry on top they ruined the next in line to be an America First leader for the country.

I continue to get conflicting reports that Trump is so popular that a landslide is coming along with Biden is going to win because a few RDS supporters are out
 
Well we can rule out Trump not winning. They will never accept that. There is only Trump wins or Trump won but RDS supporters didnt vote for him which allowed a margin close enough for Democrats to cheat to win.
 
It's funny that the guy who has consistently trashed America's republican governors - RDS, Kemp, Reynolds, Youngkin, Sunnu, etc, is the guy that is the victim of in-party fighting

Interesting that in 230ish years of post presidencies we've never had this issue before. It's almost like if you **** around, you find out.
