2024 Field

Thethe claims Biden is terrible and everyone is waking up to this conclusion.

And yet somehow, RDS, Haley, Abbott, etc stand no chance against him....

Make it make sense.

Never said Abbott had no chance. Would have to see more data points to understand the liklihood.

Halley is being treated with kid gloves. Literally no negative press on her at all. Once the left turns that on its over. Voters don't even know who she is.

Strict Abortion restrictions is a losing issue for Republicans and that has been proven time nad time again. Not sure what else needs to be said there.

Trump carries enough weight behind him that it "should" push him to a win this year and fairly easily. Of course, there is still enough time until Nov for the court cases to go against him or for Biden to gain enough popularity to sneak out another win. Trump is a risk/reward candidate.

But you are fooling yourself if you don't think Republicans and right wingers of all sorts wouldn't also get behind RDS, Haley, etc in order to prevent another Biden presidency.

For the record... the only republican to ever lose to dementia Joe is Trump.

Meanwhile, Trump underperformed republicans like Abbot, Kemp, RDS, Youngkin, Reynolds, and many more.

The only consistent loses in 2020 and 2022 were MAGA candidates

Townsend is an idiot, as well as the people who get their thoughts from him.

But if our cultist truly feels this way, then we are in an "Only-Trump" party which then ceases to exist in 4 years

That's not entirely true. We were predicted to win big in the House with a 20-40 majority with McCarthy's guys (not MAGA) and look what happened.

Well for RDS moderate republican women (and men) would flee once they got details of legisltation he pushed and passed on abortion. I don't make the rules. I just recite the clear real world data points that prove the point.

Nobody knows who Haley is so once that changes the sentiment changes. I think she has more of a chanc enationally than RDS though thats for sure.

The eGOP know how to warp the minds of the weak willed.

Just blame Trump. Super easy! NO different than how the left gets motivated. OMB OMB OMB!

And then you have a place like NY that is under the radar big MAGA and we were the reason we got control of the house.

It was pretty easy to see who the media (as Dem proxies) wanted and didn't want. Fox has pumped Haley, everyone else has pumped Trump.

Trump is the only chance the Democrats have of being competitive in this election cycle, so the bulk of media wants him to be the nominee.

Haley was the most "pre Trump" style of Republican in the race. She would sellout her voters to the big business interests, maintain an open sieve on the southern border to supply them with cheap labor, and be socially conservative for only as long as the primary lasted.

It's terribly discouraging to see the best candidate of my lifetime restricted to making Florida the best ran state in the country. But at least the Republicans don't seem to be returning to the Dem lite days that Haley fans long for.

Just going to ignore every single data point that strict abortion restrictions are a losing issue?

And now you've flipped on the stolen election of 2020 as well? Pretending that Biden actually 'won' as opposed to just winning by force?

Shocker that Trump continues to outperform Republicans but the Democrats DEFINITELY wanted to face him.

Can't make up this high level analysis.

They aren't identifying as 'Republican voters' or 'Desantis voters'. Guess more additions to the cult.

I never mentioned abortion as an election issue. To my knowledge, the Republican candidates all agreed with the Supreme Court that abortion should be decided at the state level. Have you bought into the Democrat talking points that it isn't up to voters?

I continue to believe that shady things happened during the last election. I have no idea if they were enough to change the outcome, but they were certainly meant to. I also believe the only Republican candidate for the nomination that gives Biden any hope of winning is Trump.

Too many of the die hards haven't figured out that Trump drives Dem turnout more than he drives Pub turnout. If he was only half the ass hole that he is, he would be unbeatable.

I know you haven't been around as much but sadly thethe has devolved into agreeing with Trump that states passing baby saving legislation is a "terrible thing"

he is on record as supporting more abortion so that it may be easier for them to win elections

Yet Florida is has a large percentage of fairly moderate Republicans. Not only did they support him, but they re-elected him in blowout fashion. And based on his popularity in FL, it would seem they don't care too much about this issue.

You mean like the 21 states that have already passed more restrictive abortion rights since RvW was overturned?

That doesn't exactly jive with your statement.

Dems banking on his court cases torpedoing his campaign. And regardless if your stance on on those cases, there is a better then decent chance that will happen.

He drives illegal ballot harvesting

The hypothetical question continues to have a converging result to the actual results without the question. By the time a hypothetical conviction becomes a reality nobody is going to care.
