This is my frequent reminder why Trump was such a pushover.

Every single time. Covid. Immigration. Wars. You name it

And while the left fights tooth and nail to ensure abortion remain legal til birth, republicans are being lectured about having the audacity to save lives because it makes single miserable woman angry

And Republican politicians are getting crushed when it’s an issue on the campaign trail. Patchwork laws can be easily undone. Lasting change is the only change I’m looking for.

Your issue is you think the only people who support abortion up until first trimester are single miserable women.

Uhhh.... laws passed through the legislature are very difficult to undo.

It requires electing a new legislature, and probably a new governor, and it requires those parties to seek to change a law


The reason Biden was able to undo almost the entire Trump presidency is he governed by exec order rather than passing laws through the legislature. The reason obamacare still exists is bc it was passed through the legislature. Trumps signature policy of tax cuts will be very difficult to undo, because they are popular and the dem government doesn't wanna rock that boat

The reason Florida is so well positioned to be a republican powerhouse is almost all conservative advancements were done through the legislature, not by exec order. Undoing this will take decades. 57 will be dead before it happens. They will need a new legislature and governor, and that's gonna be a while because what RDS has done is ridiculously popular among the electorate. If that day ever comes, tens of thousands of babies will have been saved in the process, and hopefully they will be advocates for life in the future generations

Unlike you, I don't want an unborn child's right to live at the mercy of a special election where the single women are able to vote while the men are producing that Tuesday. Thomas Jefferson agrees with me
