It’s impossible to know what my position is on a bill that hasn’t been made available.

But my overall position is the ccp should have no place in influencing lives of American citizens so I’m all for banning them if the ccp retains owebership and I’m mad that money seems to be driving trumps position on it now.

I am however holding it open to more information but it’s a bad sign.

I’m also acknowledging that the ccp owned app is bad just as msnbc and facebook are bad. So how do we get all of them banned? I have a feeling this is being pushed as a way to use these new powers against musk which would be an overall net negative.

I've not even taken a stance on the bill.

I merely pointed out that Trump pivoted on it. Undermined Mike Johnson's support of it, etc. And there seems to be a heavily lobbyist backed effort to leave TikTok alone. I'm surprised you're so supportive, but I've long learned that you support whatever the Don says
 
my libertarian principles would always favor on the side of free speech, leave tik Tok alone, etc.

but then you would mock me for my "meh principles" and accuse me of unabashed capitalistic support of the slave labor ccp

the only way to win with MAGA is to be aligned with whatever Trump's whims are today

I'm sorry that i tend to get skeptical when the left joins forces with the eGOP.

I'm glad you have limits to punish the ccp. I do too! So next time I bemoan how tarrifs hurt Americans more than they hurt CCP, rather than accuse me of slurping slave labor communists, just remember that you don't want to hurt Musk or Jeff Yass' investment

I have limits when its being used to silence opposition within the country.

You know - small things.

But you know you've backed yourself into a corner with your 'almost identical' comment. It is what it is. You again fell for the former RDS influencers that were always activiated specficially to damage Trump. Conincidentally enough the same people that are probably pushing for this bill to silence Musk.

Tru p wanted tiktok divested to a US company, or else be banned be banned in the US.

This bill does the same thing. They may have added a larger element to it, which is bad. But Trump didn't come out against that, he came out against banning tik tok, shortly after meeting with Jeff Yass
