Actually the Dems have abandoned all of their priorities (including amnesty for people who have been here a long time) in this negotiation and given the GOP everything they want. They say politics is the art of settling for half a loaf. Somewhat to my surprise y'all not willing to take something very close to the whole loaf. Cuz this isn't a good time. As best as I can tell that's the motivating factor for rejecting this deal.

No - they gave gop members like Romney and Langford everything they want. Not gop voters. Make sure you understand that.

But a few more busloads of migrants to Dem cities and the Dem voters and gop voters will be fully aligned. Deportations and complete shutdown of border.

Remember the Dems have consistently accused republicans of doing what they’ve already done or are currently doing.

I view this as they know it’s about to be a blowout and they are setting the stage for their next resistance.

What Trump should do now in response is to cal for full forensic audits of every state win or lose. Put the ball in the Dems court on their claims.

Lankford is the GOP's designated negotiator. You can only make a deal with people authorized to negotiate.

And the state gop has already renounced him. He doesn’t speak for gop voters. He speaks for gop donors. That’s why this atrocity is DOA.
