Once upon a time, there were two businessmen, Don and Bob.

Both had roughly the same amount of stuff. They both wanted loans to get more stuff and grow their businesses.

Bob went to the bank for a loan. He told them how much stuff he had. The bank said they couldn’t loan Bob all the money he wanted coz he didn’t have enough stuff as collateral. Bob was sad and had to give up his dream of growing his business.

Don, on the other hand, went to the bank and exaggerated how much stuff he had. By a lot. Don was a slick talker and had false paperwork to show he had a lot more stuff than he really did. The bank felt more comfortable giving Don the loan, coz they believed he had enough stuff to offer as collateral. Don ended up getting more stuff and living large.

Who is the victim?

Not the bank. One could argue should’ve done their homework on slick-talking Don.

It’s Bob.

It’s the thousands of Bobs who follow the rules and don’t lie and cheat their way into a better life.

Who protects people like Bob?

Who makes sure the rules are fair for all?

The Southern District of New ****ing York, that’s who.

I don't think it is BS. Imo he has committed serious crimes for which he should be held accountable.

But I recognize it is just my opinion and the courts will be the final authority on the matter.

Get used to it as not only will the American people be numb to any 'conviction' but it will galvanize more moderates/independents to vote for Trump.

Moderate Republicans, of which there actually are many, are not going to vote for Orange Jesus if he's convicted. Nor will Independents.

Every person who voted for him in 2016 is going to have to face the fact that by electing the crook they greatly weakened the GOP and the country. The train wreck of the crumbling of the GOP will continue to Nov and beyond.

You're the one pushing poll numbers. You can't say one side's number are fake and the other's are all correct.... oh, sorry. I forgot that's your only talking point.

You obviously haven't been paying attention with what's happened since Roe vs Wade was overturned. Center right Republicans have abandoned Orange Jesus, younger voters are breaking left, the Taylor Swift brigade, the dysfunction and daily face-planting of the GOP, the number of GOP congress folk who are either quitting or publicly decrying their party, all of that PLUS Orange Jesus making an ass out of himself and being slapped down by the law practically every day of the week now.

It's going to be a **** show. That's the only thing that can be counted on.
