This is the thing he keeps doing that sturg and I are trying to tell you. If it was once in awhile you could forgive him but it's constant.

Your loss. Calc I and Calc II is basically the Manhattan Project with all the super IQs.

It's ok to admit to Trump still has a massive support base and thus was likely going to perform fairly well nationally this election. Based on this you could make the argument he was the "safer" option on the R ticket.
It's also ok to admit that Biden is a historically unpopular POTUS, and that whoever the R's nominated was likely to perform well this election.
Thethe, keep throwing out the abortion argument all you want. Most pro-choicers already hold Trump accountable for the reversal of Roe V Wade. Hell, Trump himself takes credit for it. In his own words "I Was Able To Kill Roe v. Wade.”

There is a big difference between someone who literally pushed a 6 week ban versus Trump who historically was always pro-choice and believes in medical freedom so that states can make their own decisions.
Abortion has time and time again played out terribly for us even in Red States.
Trump took the issue away from the left in 2024 and now they have no clue what to do.
Abortion would be the #1 issue if RDS was the nominee and we would lose terribly.
I've asked many times. What is the point of overturning Roe if you're just going to criticize R for acting on it to save lives?
And I've responded several times.
ITs amazing for GOP politicians with no aspirations of winning a national election to give the people of their state what htey want.
"Warp Speed one of the most successful government programs of my lifetime" - Sturg 1/4/21
LOL
Then why does the leader of the Republican Party go off on them and criticize it as terrible?
Technically, he is correct.
The vax should never have been mandatory. And certainly Pfizer and Moderna have made billions off of this. It's completely understandable that people would/should be skeptical.
But people are also acting like the vax is way more dangerous than it actually is.
Because he is also trying to win a national election (one could argue one that will spell disaster if we don't win) and he would rather not give the left any ammunition beforehand.
You know - Like RDS did by not talking about his ideas on abortion heavily before he ran for his re-election.
I'm glad RDS believed in something enough to get done that risked his political prospects.
We need leaders who are willing to do what is right, but unpopular. As opposed to leaders who bend over backwards to ensure they get the best media coverage possible
He didn't believe in it enough to do it before his re-election or even try to pass legisltation through a somewhat divided hosue (it wasn't).
Hmmmmm - I'm sure he would do well with a divided congress in DC.
I guess the argument is that RDS does well when he's playing on the 27 Yankees roster.
you're exhausting
In order to pass legislation, you need the votes to have it. He didn't feel he had the votes in 2022. He felt he had it in 2023.
He got it done
Trump had a blood red congress and the only he got done was a Paul Ryan tax cut - which I was and am still happy about
I keep waiting for you to tell me all the other governors who simply sign what the red legislature gives them.. but you've come up empty over and over
Until you do, I'll assume you agree that RDS is the best governor in the country, and it's not particularly close
Seems like a signature issue would be discussed extensively on campaign trail.
You keep running away from why it wasn’t because it destroys your whole argument against Trump.
The vaccine is great for at-risk.
The risk/reward made no sense for those not at risk.
Trump would have never mandated the vax and therefore we would never be in this position where there are truly bad side effects that otherwise helathy people are dealing with.
My wife had terrible rashes moving around her body for a month almost immediately following her second shot.
