2024 Field

He was asked nicely and repeatedly to turn over the documents in his possession. The National Archives and FBI bent over backward to avoid having this become a legal matter. If being a scofflaw is what it takes to win the GOP presidential nomination we are in for interesting times.

All you have to do is look at how Bill Clinton was treated and then Trump. Meagan Kelly chastised Trump in his interview with her. She later recanted after she did some reading of the laws involved.

There was a time in 2022 where even the trunp cult was ready to hand the mantle to next.

Then the Mar a Lago raid and the indictments changed everything.

No, then Desantis opened his mouth and put on those ridiculous white boots.

You .ust not know about Matshal McCluen

And who requested these documents in the first place? Why was Trump the first person they targeted in this vastly important document gathering, despite Biden having similar documents for far longer?

It's as if.... they were targeting Trump.

I get that Trump isn't a nice guy. I get that much of the old guard believes he makes a mockery out of the political system. He's an easy guy to not like. I don't particularly care for him myself.

But the political lawfare that the left has engaged in to try to take Trump down has done far more damage to our political system than anything Trump ever did.

The National Archives requested them. Nicely. Repeatedly.

I mean essentially everything they cried about trump potentially doing, they have done themselves

I don't blame the communist tyrants. That I'd their playbook.

But I do blame idiot leftist voters who don't recognize it

"HES A THREAT TO DEMOCRACY!!!" they screech as they cheer on his removal from the democratic process

Then a grand jury requested them. That should have gotten everyone's attention. Rather than comply with the grand jury request, he had Walt Nauta hide the documents. It is a level of lunacy that is difficult to contemplate.

At whose request? And why did they start with Trump when Biden had been sitting on his for more than 5 years?

They find ways to target Trump. And Trump for his part, certainly makes himself an easy target. But still, using lawfare to target a political opponent is far worse than anything Trump has actually done.

Read the law. I've linked it here several times.

You're parroting the words of the prosecutor who got caught evidence tampering.

Biden had stuff in his possession since the 70s.

No matter the evidence you show these people it will not deter their programming that Trump is not being treated differently than his dem counterparts.

If I get a grand jury request I don't say sorry you have the law wrong or you're treating me differently from my neighbor. I comply. I think I would comply. I've never gotten one. I certainly wouldn't ask one of my kids to move the documents in question to a hiding place.
