Not sure how something like this happens when the public is letting LEO's know at least 2 minutes in advance that someone was crawling around on the roof. Incompetance at best and sinister at worst.

What is sad is that you know she was celebrating the minute she found out Trump was shot and was bummed it didn't take him out. She will never admit it, but we all know that is exactly what happened.

Youngkin would be a fantastic pick to help pull VA, which is close currently. But I still like Tim Scott a lot.
 
Sleepy Joe can't hit Trump with the threat to Democracy bit anymore without having to answer for this assassination attempt. So how exactly does his (and honestly the Dems down ballot) campaign shift now? Cause up till now, "saving the democracy" was 90% of his/the Dems campaign.

I think you are assuming your conclusion.

The assassination attempt does not wipe out the fact that his ego did not allow him to accept he lost an election fair and square. All of the events that occurred after the 2020 election should and will be part of the campaign. It would be political malpractice not to remind the voters over and over again of what happened. Some of y'all may wish that such reminders stop. I doubt that your wish will be granted.
