2024 Field

Unfortunately, the candidates will pass the time until Election Day pelting each other with insincerities. Vice President Harris vows to end the border crisis that became one because of actions and inactions of the Biden-Harris administration. She promises to improve the cost of livingthat soared during the inflation that reached a 40-year high under that administration. And she promises to rescue women from Trump’s supposed abortion extremism. (Never mind that the overturning of Roe, which she operatically deplores, put abortion policy beyond the federal government’s reach.)

Trump is promising whatever pops into his skull during one of those bouts of rhetorical diarrhea that enchant his audiences. For example, during his acceptance speech, which was of Castroite length, he assured the Milwaukee convention that the Green Bay Packers will have a swell season.

Honestly I think this election could be fascinating because my own feelings on her as a candidate aside, she seems to be exciting the base more than Biden or Clinton could have dreamed of. Time will tell if they can keep that momentum past September, but if they do I think you have to throw out any comparisons to previous Trump elections. Can Dems win with someone who can be aggressively attacked from the right against Trump?

As Orange Jesus and MAGA's chances in Nov go continue to fall, personal attacks here increase. Interesting correlation.

I had noticed the daily deluge of polls around these parts had slowed down

Don't worry - When the honeymoon is over I'll be right back here right as usual.

But if you want we can still talk about despite the nonsense we are seeing now Trump performs better with Hispanics/Blacks against Kamala than he did against Biden in 2020. Then of course the idea that Kamala would do better iwth white men than Biden is laughable.

Like I said. We will be here in a month or 2 and y'all will pretend you didn't take this little bump seriously.

So odd that global markets started tanking when Kamala was seen as a 'favorite'.

Great buying opportunity lets just say that.

Maybe, but she's set for another 3 weeks of honeymoon numbers, which will take her past Labor Day when pollsters say voters' minds are pretty much decided. He could still kick her butt in the debate or the Dems could have a bad convention, etc, but I say your "little bump" looks more like a winning trend and a blue wave in Nov.

She looks very good on the stage, dare I say, presidential. Orange Jesus and his misfire VP candidate look like D list fringe politicians, which is exactly what they are.

I bought some Ford on Friday on the selloff. Easy money there. Buy around $10, wait 6 months and sell around $14. Profit 40%. You can almost set your watch on it over the last 3 years.
