Better than Biden after the debate? For sure. It's tough to be worse than that.

But they are trailing Biden's 2020 performance substantially. And this is likely the most popular they will ever be unless they can kill the debates, which isn't likely given Harris's terrible track record when put on the spot. They aren't winning PA by polling even with Trump. They aren't winning MI or WI polling even with Trump.

I’m a little miffed by using the current spending habits of low-income consumers to suggest the Dems have specifically done something wrong right now, given that Republicans have controlled one of the two chambers of Congress for over 2 years.
