Did the experts tell him to trust Xi Jiping to contain the virus to China? Did the experts tell Trump to end the early warning program in China so we would know when a pandemic was coming? Did the experts tell Trump to pretend it wasnt a problem until it was too late? Trump listened to the experts like he listens to his lawyers. Way too late. Trump said Obama should resign because like 2 people died from a pandemic. In a global pandemic we need federal leadership and Trump opted to punt it to the states. We needed a unified response. One state doing a bad job jeopardized every other state.

I dont know where you get this idea Florida did so well. Looking at deaths per person I see a little difference in stats when I look it up but Florida was in top 15 most deaths per capita. New York was comparable but California was much lower. Even Donald Trump says Florida did a terrible job on covid. Its amazing that you want to blame Biden for a pandemic that was in full effect when he took over. If this all happened during Obama's term half as many people would have died and Republicans would be screaming bloody murder that Obama failed to protect us.

Its got about as much chance of happening as deporting 20 million people. Or making women so happy they dont even think about abortion. Or fixing the national debt. Or destroying the drug cartels. Or ending illegal immigration. Or Trumps new healthcare plan of seeing the light of day.

You think the US can make China do something? Lol that's cute. The virus hit Italy far earlier than it hit the US. Was the US just going stop international travel all together? Waited until it was too late? For what? COVID was one of the most contagious viruses in history. It was going to happen no matter what sort imaginary precautions you had in mind.

If you weren't aware, the US government DOES NOT have unilateral authority to force states to shutdown. It would have back fired overwhelming as states like Florida would have ruled it unconstitutional. And your stats on Florida are increibly flawed and have been proven false.

Considering legal experts everywhere state that an unrealized gain tax would be unconstitutional, I would say you are wrong. But you should be used to taking Ls by now.

We have leverage on China we can use. The important thing is we would have had people on the ground in China reporting to us so we dont have to take Xi Jipings word. As soon as China started to obstruct they could have threatened to halt all imports from China. Obama did a lot to prepare us for a pandemic but dumbass Donald failed to use the playbook he was left because it was from Obama. Then blamed Obama for not fixing the problem for Trump before it ever happened. To say there was nothing we could have done better is bullcrap.

And if you want to provide me a site with accurate numbers please do. I looked. A lot of varying numbers and I dont know which ones to go by.

Dude you are so FOS. The US does not dictate how Chine runs it's country. China purposely lied about the virus. They lied about how deadly it was. They lied about how contagious it was. They lied about it's origins. No amount of "sanctions" was gonna change any of that.

China purposely developed the virus, and there is a decent chance it was being developed as biological weapon, as there was no legitimate reason for them to hide this information from the rest of the world, unless they didn't want people to know about it. And while it's release MAY have been accidental, there is plenty of evidence to suggest it was a controlled release, most likely to quell the political unrest in Hong Kong in 2019 that was gaining momentum.
