2024 Field

1. Thanks for proving my point. The media ran with those quotes like crazy, they didn't actively try to downplay those remarks or outright refuse to acknowledge those remarks even existed.

2. Trump called politicians like Pelosi and Schiff the enemy within, not half the country.

3. Your last quote, again isn't calling out half the country. It's vague wording that could mean Politicians, Antifa, BLM, etc.

4. You must of have missed where I said Trump rightfully deserves to be called out when he says stupid ****. I am simply asking for consistency all around. Biden's comments are also unacceptable, particularly because he is the current sitting POTUS.

You've missed the point for the thousandth time. They issue isn't that the media consistently runs negative Trump coverage. It's that Biden, Harris, etc don't receive the same treatment when they say controversial things. Just like in debate when they only fact checked Trump.

And it's not even limited to Trump. For nearly a month after Trump selected Vance as his running mate, we constantly heard about Vance's cat lady remarks.

1. You are really proving my point that when a person says "the media" they are talking out their ass. Theres so much media out there with every variation of slant imaginable and people seek out what they want in media. Stop worrying about what everyone else reports or sees. If you want to complain about the leftwing media thats fine, but lets not pretend like there is no media covering this or giving negative coverage of it.

2. Biden didnt call half the country Trump supporters. He wishes it was half. He cant even get 47% of the vote. And I wouldnt classify everyone that voted for Trump as Trump supporters. Some just really hate Democrats ala Bill Barr. I know theres a significant portion that will be voting for him that wish he would go away. How big that percentage is I dont know but 71 million aint half the country by a long shot before even reducing that number to get the real amount.

3. Trump included the "radical left" which you are right is very vague. He calls everyone who doesnt like him the radical left. Which is more than half the voters in this country. 81 million people atleast going by his logic.

4. The guy tried to overthrow the ****ing government less than 4 years ago and you are whining that the media isnt being fair to him. Am I hearing this correctly?

People want to pretend still that 2020 is legit or that our election system is setup to be accurate.

Sad

Ok - sure thing.

Makes a hell of a lot more sense than using 2024 enthusiasm to explain 2020 turnout.

Biden’s net approval is the lowest of any president at this point in his first term going back to HW Bush. Something like 75-80% of Americans think the country is on the wrong track. Why am I not supposed to believe this sentiment would suppress (D) turnout?

Its not (D) turnout its a subsection of D turnout which is inner city black people. The same grouping of people that were low propensity and all of a sudden had a MASSIVE jump in participation rates in the super fair 2020 election.

I have literally been saying for years now that the turnout of black people in urban settings were going to drop in 2024 so this is not monday morning quarterbacking.

But there isn't a mass amount of major news networks, which are the primary sources of news. Nearly all of the major news outlets lean left. It's been proven time and time again. So yes, having the majority of the media running lead blocker for Biden and the Dems while constantly attacking Trump and anyone on the right most definitely affects people's opinions. Did you know that 1 in 3 independents polled say they would have changed their vote (not necessarily to Trump) in 2020 had they been told the truth about the Hunter Biden laptop story? Considering Trump lost the election but a combined 43k votes over 3 states, I would say that is easily could have swung the election. So don't tell me this **** has no affect on American voters.

And arguing semantics over the phrase "half the country" is hilarious. 46+% of voters have voted for Trump in the last 2 elections. That is roughly half the voters. And the vast majority of non-voters are people unable to vote (children, felons, etc.) And if you willingly cast your ballot for Trump, even if you don't like him, you are indeed supporting Trump.

One of us here is asking for neutral media coverage from all sides. That includes calling out Trump when yells about eating pets and also calling out Biden when he calls roughly half the country garbage. Meanwhile, one of us doesn't care a media bias as long as it's anti-trump.

What happens when election day turnout doesn't change for Dems in comparison to 2020 and Republicans stay mostly the same albeit I'd expect a bit of cannabilization.

It helps when you stop taking his "points" seriously.

"I'm neutral" is the biggest joke thats ever been typed on this forum.

GOP early turnout at 2% of Dems in Iowa and Colorado so far.

I'm not saying they flip, but thats bad news. NH is 5% but a LARGE population of Indies voting there.

Arz and Nevada red as of now by about 4 points in NV , more in AR.

NC\GA red for now during early voting

A little worrisome though. How much smaller will the in person Election Day numbers be for the GOP since more than ever before have voted early?

The fundraising numbers indicate where the enthusiasm advantage lies. With some corroboration from polling and crowd sizes.

I decided to throw some money at Kamala contacts at 37 cents. While I don't expect to her to win, this appeared to be a clear arbitrage situation on something much closer to 50/50.

Two days later this contacts are worth 41 cents. I considered cashing out with the 10% gain, but decided not to as I expect it to creep close to 50% by the weekend.

I will likely cash out Monday, unless the contacts are above 60% which then would make me believe she will pull it off

Its going to be a blowout guys.

Super real don't question us mail in ballots in inner cities from 2020 all of a sudden don't exist in the millions based on early data.

Harris takes a private plane for 3 mile trip.

Same woman wanting to ban gas engines.

She is really doubling down on the environmental impact angle while flying private everywhere.
