You'd have a completely different viewpoint if the election wasn't stolen and Trump was rightfully awarded almost all the swing states.

I think the majority of people that matter; the undecideds, center left, center right etc all prefer DeSantis over trump. I don’t even think it’s debatable. Virginia’s governorship upset had way more to do with the people I’m talking about that are pissed off about how the country is doing and where’s it’s going than anything to do with trump.

Whether or not this is true... DeSantis is smarter than Trump. Better at handling a hostile media. Better at not turning on tough decisions (he would have fired Fauci). And is more likable.

Why would you prefer a worse candidate?
 
Yesterdays Suffolk polls has DeSantis beating Biden and Clinton by a few more points, than it has trump beating them by

I agree that Desantis does a lot of things better than Trump.

What I also know is that Trump was the best president we have had in over 40 years despite a hostile enemy force trying to destroy the country from within.

Yes because Trump has more appeal.

He INCREASED his vote total by 11M despite having a color revolution launched against him and endless fake news stories.

Think about that. This idea he doesn't appeal to voters is a made up fantasy to mask how the election was completely stolen.

Please just watch the trailer for '2000 Mules' and learn about how people were being paid 10 dollars a ballot in all swing states to stuff the box.

It’s not a popular vote though. Trump can increase his votes by 5,000,000 in Texas and 10,000,000 in Florida but if he can’t carry Pennsylvania, Georgia and North Carolina it doesn’t matter

Trump also increased margins in places like LA/SF/NYC. That gets overlooked because of how it was stolen in the swing states.

I’m comfortable being the only one on the forum. Desantis is great and I’d have no issues if he was president.

Just think Trump is more likely to win.
 
Regardless of how you feel about election fraud. There was a group of people that actively voted against Trump. That won't be the case against DeSantis imo.

And then you have to weight this against the turnout that trump gets in every single state.

Bottom line is as long as election integrity is assured republicans are cleaning house regardless of who is on the top of the ticket.

Just less Lindsey Graham’s please.
 
I also don't think as a party we should be selecting our candidates or messages based on idiot upper middle class wine moms who decided to destroy the nation because their feelings were hurt because of some tweets.
