Absolutely not and hte only reason you think that is because you forgot how badly the 2020 election was stolen.

Desantis will not play well nationally and the dwindling poll numbers the past few weeks are indicative of that.

Its the only insight from 57 that I thought was spot on. Desantis had to imitate Trump because he lacks his own authenticity.

Only thing that worries me about DeSantis is if he’s quick witted. If he does run he’ll have to take Trumps insults and return fire at the live debates. He can’t look like a pussy live in front of the world. Once Trumps sniffs blood in the water, it’s game over for DeSantis.

On paper DeSantis is 10000000x a better candidate than Trump. Not doubt about that

The problem is you can't buy into Trump's BS. You need to live above him. Trump doesn't have the luxury of not having policy history either. Desantis can stick to the script and beat trump.

Remember when Rubio went after Trump and insulted his small hands? He was out of the race soon after. What works best for Trump is to change the topic and control. When Trump can repeat himself over and over again.
