2024 Field

Here you are again flip flopping becuase you realize how stupid your response of "I Support Free Trade" was.

Its all good dude. Keep pushing your textbook principals that empowered the CCP while you claim here locally you hate communism.

thethe: we should take money from people and give it to others. and when times get tough, we should just print money and send it to people. and we should pick and choose winners and losers of foreign trade.

sturg: those are all terrible ideas and will result in failure

thethe: you're a communist!

nah you'll turn on them the minute you're instructed to.

I know this because you turned on RDS the minute you were instructed, years after constantly praising the man

its adorable but also kinda pathetic

think for yourself

Trump will be dead in ten years so you're wrong. I can't wait to be called a cultist then.

I turned on RDS when he pushed a policy that led to WW3. The fact you don't understand that shows just like the trade discussion you are clueless.

Sturg - Lets gut competition by supporting the CCP that enslaves 1B people. "I'M A CAPITALIST!"

This isn’t correct but it’s a nice thought that I wish were true.

I consulted for a indepdent cosmetic company that sourced from China. I then did pricing analysis for her when she wanted to see other sourcing options (including the US). None of it made economic sense because of China and believe it or not the US options weren't that far off ulterior options because of transportation costs. Then there are added benefits like quality control and costs to the company to do on site visits.

Actually you turned on him when he said we shouldn't be involving ourselves in the Ukraine war.

Then you got made when you claimed he reversed that statement.

The conclusion I drew from that was no matter what he said, you were ready to attack... like the good MAGA soldier you are.

its fun seeing Alex's horrific talking points brought back to these very boards

No I RIGHTLY deciphered his first comments when people praised him as being America first. It took 48 hours for him to show his true colors so the normies can see.

yes, of course! my mistake

and that one little policy difference turned him from an amazing governor and essential to surviving covid and a hell of potential presidential candidate

to a communist globalist sellout

tough crowd!

he might even support capitalism too! which means he actually support communist because capitalism is what creates communism or something

Cost of capital (nobody just has $30 billion on hand to build fab or OEM)
Labor costs
Material sourcing (that whole infrastructure is entirely in South Asia including many powerful allies like Japan Korea and Taiwan and Singapore).

So you either have massive cost inflation or massive government subsidies to offset those costs. Also are we going to just expect the ROW to abandon China as well?

Independent cosmetic companies don’t operate near enough on a scale that to warrant basing your trade policy on it.

No never said those words but of course you will pretend like I said that becuase you've lost the debate.

a friendly reminder.

this is the person who is going to beat the communists. build the necessary coalitions to tear down the system and drain the swamp

Well again - I've never said we should move manufacturing away from actual free countries.

And yes we need to have material investments in the US instead of giving money away to fight from the globalists piggy bank (Ukraine). Another principal policy proposal I've discussed countless times.

The intrinsic benefits of investing in America as opposed to places like Ukraine will pay themselves off in less than a decade.

I have an excellent book recommendation if you are interested.

Chip War by Chris Miller

Check your approved reading materials guide from TrumpWarRoom.com to see if it’s on there. I think you’d enjoy it

Subsidizing American manufacturing to be price competive with China would be in the trillions of dollars.

Ukraine would be a rounding error.

The chip war is a totally different animal and if we lose Taiwan we are screwed.

Afghanistan also has rare earth materials that we handed over to china as well.

Its not a subsidy for competition. China isn't even an option in my world. The subsidy is for building the infrastructure to begin manufacturing. You can even make them interest free loans to builders that are paid back over 20-30 years.

Once the US stops purchasing from China the world will follow.

This is a wonderful thought that unfortunately is not remotely likely. History has always shown price always wins.

The point is to put pressure on the ccp so that they are internally overthrown. Nothing could be better for the world than that. Without the Us market they will crumble.

And when there is actual free trade then competition will actually exist. Then I agree let the best win.

Read the book, man. Actually very interested to hear your thoughts on it.

I promise you it’s right up your alley.
