I'm gonna go on a limb and say that the accumulation of charges and trials will eventually sink very poorly chosen one and lead the GOP to nominate a sane candidate (sane being defined as anyone else).

No chance he loses the primary. None. For the first time I am optimistic about Biden winning re-election. When these trials happen during the general election its going to look VERY bad for Trump. He will still get the crazies like thethe and the Never-Dem voters like Barr but its going to be very hard to spin the evidence shown in these trials. Not counting the NY case. Thats small potatoes.

There are two ways he could not get the nomination. One would be via outcomes in the primaries. The second would be a decision taken at the nominating convention. I think both have a chance of happening.

Theres no candidate with the combination of star power and balls to beat Trump in this primary. The only person with a non-zero number chanc imo is Christie simply because he is the only one not swinging from Trumps nuts. The second option would get real ugly. The hardcore Trumpers will sabotage any non Trump candidate simply so they can say "yeah well Trump would have won".
