For those that still adhere to misguided traditional economic positions for America.

“But the textbooks tell me unlimited efficiencies in economic systems is the optimal goal!”

There's not a single free market capitalist that would advocate for the system we have today.

The system.we have today is much much closer to your populist wishes than a capitalists

Sure sure - while you still have no issue with trade with the ccp.

Right and don't forget I'm actually a communist

No you just refuse to do anything about the principal driver as to why western economies have progressed to this point of inequalities whereby the wealthy accumulate more wealth while working class people lose their jobs to slave labor.

It’s ok man - the textbook says tariffs are wrong regardless if it’s a slave state. I know.

I'm very much in favor of turning off the money printer but then you wouldn't have been able to send those checks to people to sit on their couch

It’s the allocation of printed money that’s the primary issue and it the actual printing. This is what you never will understand. When money is printed it’s injected into a system that results in the wealthy having principal access while it doesn’t actually trickle down. The same people that advocate printing are the same people that advocate “free” trade with the ccp.

But you continue on with the catch phrases of “It’s the printing” while avoiding the actually systemic issues with the modern globalist economy.

There’s no better country to live in the world for the working class than the United States. It’s better now than it was 10 years ago… than it was 5 years ago even.

I know there’s room for improvement and wealth inequality is a challenge. But let’s not throw the baby out with the bath water.

According to what measures?

Cleanliness of our cities?
Crime?
Jobs for uneducated?

Great country for laptop class that’s for sure. Wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.

What other countries have an easier path to the laptop class than this one? You act like that’s a negative. I’d much rather have a country with an abundance of those jobs vs an industrial economy like China.

The US has by far the best education system in the world (as evidenced by the massive inflow of the best and brightest of the world who come here to study and stay to work).

The US is safe both from a crime and investment perspective. We attract the most outside investment from other countries because they know their capital is safe (populist countries… like communist countries… are famous for government seizures of private property)

How many uneducated people don’t have jobs in this country? Last I checked unemployment rate has been historically low basically since the Great Recession. There can’t be too many.

Yes we have problems. But we have less than the rest of the world. Healthy dose of perspective could help ya know

Higher education.

Primary education is a mixed bag. Generally, Americans spend the first 18 years of their life falling behind the rest of the world and next four catching up.

But higher education, especially graduate programs, is one of the things that set this country apart from the rest of the world. We have great programs in numbers that no one else comes close to. As you said, the rest of the world sends their best and brightest here and many of them stay.

Good clarification.

I think part of the issue with K-12 vs rest of the world is the rest of the world has a stronger motivation to succeed. A 15 year old in India has more to lose from falling behind than a 15 year old in the US (in large part because our community college system kicks ass as a feeder system).

I assure you I understand better than you that the money printing helps the rich and destroys the non rich.

I want it turned off.

You don't.

Meanwhile, your tarrifs are fine but they are ineffective. They did nothing to stop the imports but did raise costs on your fellow middle class citizens. We imported more from China than we ever had during 2017-2019.

Covid brought it back down

The WSJ poll shows an interesting (but hardly surprising) dynamic.

Among Republican voters 48% say the indictments make them more likely to vote for very poorly chosen one. And only 18% say less likely.

The problem is those 48% are going to vote Republican no matter what. Some of the 18% will peel away in a general election.

Among all voters 24% say the indictments are more likely to vote for him and 37% less likely. That 37% reflects those 18% of Republican voters as well as the leanings of independents.

Bottom line: indictments help him with the base, not so much in the general election. There are few independent voters who say the indictments make them more likely to vote for him.

Remains to be what effects convictions (or exonerations) will have.

Everyone who isn't an idiot understands this is the biggest deep state trap of all time and yet the idiots will insist they have outflanked the deep state this time

More talking points pushed out by trash NBD. Just like all the fake outrage against Vivek. Embarrassing to just latch on to all these obviously planted narratives. What will be interesting to see in the future is how many more times you can change your positions if there is a campaign blitz out targeting squishy people like you.

Completely fake campaign with very little support within the GOP. Keep feeding at the trough though super tough holier than thou conservative guy. You’re so noble!

Tell me more about what super organic people like “Florida Dad” or “Unfiltered Boss” have to say though. It’a so obvious which talking points your parrot.

Sorry I missed this:

For starters why can’t we have both? A plentiful laptop and blue collar workforce? Nobody is saying to revert back to a 19th century economy and it’s unfortunate that you’d sort of take it to that extreme. We should be able to support all types of competencies in this country. It’s about the willingness to take more money out of the investment banking classes wallet and into hard working Americans. Don’t worry about the poor investment bankers. They’ll still be the wealthiest people in the world.

Our education system is trash now and you’ve hashed that out with nsacpi so no need to engage further. It’ll take a drastic culture shift to change that though and having stable homes with heads of households that can get a good paying blue collar job will advance tgat agenda faster than anything else.

Love how populism is a dirty word when all we are asking is to get the interests of our people over the wealthy of other countries. Without a sense if country pride the whole system crumbles.

The employment percentage is a metric to use but understanding the inputs is also helpful. How many people have exited the market? How many people have multiple jobs? What’s the split on US vs foreign born? This is why propels thst point to figures like GDP miss the big picture.

Happiness in other countries using other less mathematical indices yield a bunch different picture and tbst split is now growing as the US continues to devolve into this trash globalist experiment.

Shame that few seem to crave the days of donor led politics.

Oh well - we will drag you squishy people over the finishing line yet again.

I'm not the moron who voted for Obama.

You're quite easily persuadable with some nice words.

Why didn't Trump pardon them the first time?

This is the best you’ve got?

With the little information we had and what the narrative was at the time?

Whatever - in hindsight he should have 100% pardoned all people and it was a mistake.

Desantis will cave eventually because he HAS to listen to his donors. Just like his “vaccine inquiries” you pushed endlessly. Just like his “fight” with Disney right around his campaign launch.

You fell for a fake campaign. It’s alright man.
